Thinking of you both and always keeping you in my prayers. She is doing as well as can be expected. We found out today that she will need another surgery on her ear with the plastic surgeon to further return it to a normal looking ear. She is really struggling now mentally with everything and she doesn't really have too much use of her arm and hand yet. She is incredibly frustrated with her physical limitations and just wants her old life back. She is struggling with losing her love and still having feelings for him. They were talking marriage, buying a house, and children before this all happened. We are certain now that mental health issues came to play in the stabbing, but do not have much information on exactly what type of mental health issue, i.e. the diagnosis. Prayers for her are always greatly appreciated as it weighs heavily on my heart that she struggles so much with this, both physically and mentally/psychologically. I too am struggling with things as well. I'm not sure if I held my feelings back to be strong for her and it is now coming back to haunt me or if it's some sort of PTSD type of thing. I can't handle any stress well whatsoever and have overwhelming thoughts of losing her and the rest of my loved ones now. I'm just so sorry for what you and your significant other are going through right now what DMJ and his wife are enduring although I am glad to hear she is doing better, Silver Patriot, and Fluffy Pancake and her son. I know that I generally only use my praying hands on a daily basis, but you all are always in my thoughts and prayers even if I don't personally respond to every request. I just don't want to tie up the thread with a response to every single post. :praying-hands: for all here and for all requested prayers. Time does heal, but sometimes it seems that the lingering trauma of the mind and soul will never end. My daughter still has issues now and then, the after-affects of that terrible car accident last year.She realizes she should have been killed, but by the Grace of God, she is here. Hugs to you, my friend ! Dear Heavenly Father , we need You , we ask for healing of body, soul and Spirit in Jesus name amen Man guys the fires in all our lives says , the harvest is busy. Please share with her the Lord gave her an out , take it. I am 30 years with someone with mental issues and it is not a way to live. |

TrustNoOneKS, I completely understand. Just keep remembering that Yah doesn't give us a spirit of fear. Try to speak those verses out when you are troubled. Spent yesterday doing paper work with my Mom regarding the passing of my father. Oh...she is hurting. Of course, the entire affect has changed. No more nurses coming in and out, no more oxygen machine pulsing, just very, very quiet. And she has to grieve, too. Now it's all quiet and she is feeling the grief. I'm doing all the paperwork stuff for her, and I think as can be expected, she isn't clicking terribly well. We finally got a helpful VA guy....and his name was the same as my Dad. Just wow. And she broke down. She will be alright, but she still needs prayers for awhile here. Our son is recovering well. The wound in his armpit hurts the worst. The stab wounds in his back look very raised. Hoping it's just swelling and no abscess is developing. DMJ, so happy to hear your wife is progressing well! Sandy, prayers will continue. Actually, for everyone, prayers will continue. Blessings upon you all, and may YHVH go before you and clear your path. Your experience with your mom reminds me so much of mine with my dad back in 2014. Mom had hospice at home and he took care of her for a long time before hospice got involved. Presently dad still grieves but not as bad as he did initially. He volunteers a lot at church, he also keeps occupied with his vegetable garden and he spends a lot of time at my house usually for dinner and many times for help with paperwork. Prayers and hugs for you and your mom. It is such a blessing that she has you to lean on. Also, continued prayers for your son. :Prayingforyou3: |
