Amazing! I had an unexpected big financial set back but shortly after I posted things turned around! Not sure where I’m going yet. Still have many other details to work out. Have to move. Everything I planned fell though in more ways than one at last minute. Things aren’t happening like I wanted to but they are happening. Guess god had other plans. The power of prayer. Just had to update the prayers are helping!

Very cool Simple. Funny I just packed a bunch of things my dad left me before he passed. I have many crosses made from them.. My father saved palms. They’re very important he’d say. They protect you.

1 Corinthians 10:Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. 5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

How ironic this is the word today , as my brother has had several heart attack this morning. We are body, soul and Spirit and his smoking all those years finally destroyed his body and heart. It matters what we eat and drink Spiritually and physically. Psalm 78 is all about 1 Corinthians 10 and is a read for today.

“Psalm 78:2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old: 3 Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us. 4 We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done. 7That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments.,”

Every generation was to pass to the next every word of God. They were to know Jesus was in Exodus 17 in the wilderness to Revelation and Who we belong to. We were to learn from the people in the wilderness and not follow what happened in “1 Corinthians 10:7 And do not become idolaters as were some of them, The people sat down to eat and drink and rose to play.”

It was easy for those in the wilderness to forget Who they belonged to and Jesus had great concerns what would happen after the Cross. Today read all of 1 Corinthians 10 and Psalm 78. Following the Lord was never easy and playing around with it, is serious business. We live in a very toxic and tempting world like smoking. satan has always used people, places and things to help us forget Who our bodies, souls and Spirits belong to.

There was a few in Matthew that knew Jesus was coming and what signs would show them when and what to watch for . Jesus left us much more to know and watch for, to be ready for His coming. My brother survived the night and can have another day to be better prepared to meet His maker. There is only One way to Heaven and we have the instructions how to get there. If you are not ready please take the time to do so.

None of us know when we will have a heart attack , be on a highway at the wrong time like yesterday in Colorado or any number of things that takes our lives. We are to be ready right now , today to meet our Maker...

Thread: Prayer Request: Deliverance from Addiction

Hello all, I have a request.
When my wife was in the ICU, there was a family there, it seemed i knew the father.
Come to find out, i have worked with him and others in his family, we're iron workers and travel a lot, see a lot of people.
Well his son was hit by a coke a cola truck. He was in the ICU the same time as my wife.

They said their son was in bad shape, but was coming around. Well that was when they had him drugged up.
They just moved the young man to the rehab unit where my wife is.
All this young guy can do is set there and shake uncontrollably, has to be fed, can't do much of anything.
It breaks my heart to see a young life this way.
He has some thing wrong with his brain.

So, i know how good you folks are with this kind of thing, could we pray for this young man.

Tiger1 you say things that someone I love very much I hope to find again or he finds me use to say. It’s been many years but I’ve been praying he comes back to me. He’s one I should have married and should have said yes to. God had different plans for me at time. Hope God gives me and us a second chance. Think timing is better for both of us now. If it’s meant to be it will happen God willing. Appreciate your kind words.

Good news!!! Nef's ultrasound results for the renal lesions showed 2 simple cysts. One in each kidney. No solid tumors!!
