Wanted to share what I have been seeing different. First yesterday the lightening was unlike anything I ever experienced. It was like bombs going off and non stop, God was loud. On Tues in an hour even rain fell to flood people that did not flood in Harvey. Then it rained over 5 inches all night long, last night and no flooding, when it should have ?. The temperatures dropped so low had to get a jacket.
We did not have another chance for rain till tomorrow afternoon. Just now that all changed and it might even rain tonight and temperatures just rose. All this really matters and God is watching our hearts right now...I have watch weather since I was a child , change is hard and fast...

Thank You all for coming , praying , encouraging and sharing. The storms where I live have been relentless and since I got back from my brothers passing , it has been very different. Just wanted to say I love you all very much...

Just wanted to connect tonight...prayers for all on
the thread, especially for Kenny having such a rough go
of it--so glorious he is improving.

In 4 more days it will have been a full month since
my own "event" (AVA Stroke) and all I can say is God
Bless everyone who prayed for me. I'm well on my way to
recovering and learning skills to deal with my "new
reality." I'm treasuring every day and the warm spring
weather has finally allowed a couple of walks in the sun
--even though "wobbly!" Family has been incredibly supportive
and even the family Chihuahua is watching over me.

I love the words of Elihu ,we need them today as Job did then. We were to never long for the things of this world like gold. War and rumor of, is brewing over such things like liquid gold.

“Ecclesiastes 7: 29 Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions. “
They did and we have even more inventions than those before us , so much so we kill and destroy God's creations to have them.
“Luke 12:27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”

“Job 35: 11 Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven? 12 There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men. 13 Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it. 14 Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust thou in him. 15 But now, because it is not so, he hath visited in his anger; yet he knoweth it not in great extremity: 16 Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth words without knowledge.”
God's creations from a lily , clouds, water , soil and air was to always remind us Who is who. Job was listed with the evil men of pride until “ Job 40: Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.”

Our vehicles alone have made us Job. What they are made of , how much they cost , what it takes to make them run and even what we build to drive and park them on causes wars. They pollute , kill and destroy God's creations from the soil to humans. Hurricane Harvey alone destroyed millions of vehicles. This past week two barges collided in the bad storms and poured out more chemicals our cars need into the water. We love our inventions and should not. Job did not pollute the air and water , he was polluting the soul and Spirit. We were to never do either. God's wrath is not a bad thing, is the message in Job and for us today, it saves the soul from the pit...
“Job 33:18 He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.”

In the Garden and today satan has always made man question God's word.
“Colossians 1: 12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16 For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: 17 And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.”

We want to play around , question and create our own gods , go ahead they did in Job. “All things ,”are in those verse four times. We want to change that to some things? That is a scary place to go. Will we go backwards and not love our inventions, no ...Right now He is showing us what matters , are we listening ? He has been trying hard to make us stop ,even for a day but we continue even in floods and bad storm with our inventions of pride and evil...Lord help us...
Job is vital right now for all of us from our stuff ,to our bodies, souls and Spirits. Playing around with nations with bombs is nothing compared to playing around with God. Those bombs are dust in the wind to His weapons of war and yes God is a God if war.
“Exodus 15:3 The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.”
If we took away one invention in our time that would change everything , it would be what we travel in , where and how...God knew and knows we will not , that is why earth always had an expiration date and Jesus left us clear signs. Those signs can be found in Luke 21 and in the story of Job.

Two strong messages today this is the second.

Luke 13: 23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, 24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

The Lord wants us to really understand this right now. “14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. “
He is showing us we are on the broad way and we are wanting to be first on earth...How do we know the narrow path, in a sea of false prophets? Know the Word better than those that teach and ask the Lord , He provides the wisdom, man never did.

God is Great.
