I know that most of the prayer requests have to do with
a sudden illness, dangerous operation (or like me--a
sudden stroke)--but tonight I would like to request prayer
for comfort for one of GLP members, "Dace." This is his
thread up tonight on the Forum Board:
Thread: My Dad Died.......

He discovered his dad passed away at home and he sounds pretty
traumatized. (I can just imagine...so often we have the
grace to say our last good-byes and be with other family
members at the hospital or in hospice, but this was not
afforded to Dace or his family.)

I would like--on this Memorial Day--to ask we pray for
Dace and for any others who may be "in memorial" for loved
ones in whatever circumstance they have passed away. I just
feel so very sad for Dace that his last memory of his dad
would be to find him having died alone in his house, like
that.

Thanks for your caring thread and for the chance to ask
for this kindness for our GLP brother.

(I'm NOT out of the woods yet....My landlord has threatened
to evict us after on 6 weeks past my stroke because the
building is so old the plumbing is failing for some of
the apartments.) So...lots of grief going on this weekend.
