Re: Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word
Dark night for me emotionally. I prayed before bed and kept waking up all night. Not related to my heart or colon issues. I kept waking up just thinking about her. It was not dreams or visions, but I would just wake up and start crying again.

Me being upset is affecting me other ways, as expected. What i find odd is that after I prayed for a sign or vision yesterday afternoon I got a text from her asking how my appts went and if I was improving. I did not reply. I have been contemplating it, but have not.

Don't get me wrong. I still have the feels for her. We have been together 22 year. Is this Him telling me that we should work it out?

I guess what I am wondering ... his words state that marriage is a covenant. Isn't divorce a "bad" thing in His eyes?

I feel over the last few days after prayer that if we try to work it out again we would be in the same mess we are in now. She gave up on counseling more than once and refused to work on the things we needed.

Also, for the record. I called the church and had to leave a message with no return call. I called the family that drove me home last time and they could not take me due to a medical issue they are experiencing. I have not been able to go to church today.

Am I just reading int everything wrong here?
Isn't divorce frowned upon by HIM?
Am I just trying to hard to focus on more than one thing at a time? Yes, I am a burn the candle at both ends type of person. I have always been and it is hard for me to not multitask.

I am confused over everything.

Jeremiah 25: 4And the Lord hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear. 5 They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the Lord hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever: 6 And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt.
7 Yet ye have not hearkened unto me, saith the Lord; that ye might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt. 8 Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Because ye have not heard my words, 9 Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the Lord, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations. 10 Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle. 11 And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. 12 And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the Lord, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.
13And I will bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah hath prophesied against all the nations. 14 For many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of them also: and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands. 15 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it. 16 And they shall drink, and be moved, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them.17Then took I the cup at the Lord's hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the Lord had sent me.
26 And all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another, and all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the face of the earth: and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them. 27Therefore thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.

Rise and fall no more is very clear, Jesus is coming.

“28 And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink. 29 For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the Lord of hosts.”
Jeremiah convinced some to surrender.
“32 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. 33 And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground. 34Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, ye principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel.”

The Bible is timeless and we only have to look at history to see how many times this has happened. It is easy to read 32-34 see war after war even most recent World War II. The war on earth will not stop until God stops it.

“Jeremiah 26: 5 , but ye have not hearkened; 6Then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.”

Jeremiah brought a very unpopular message and they wanted to kill him and would not listen to what seemed wrong , to be under Nebuchadnezzar. True faith is seen in this story, to trust that no matter what happens God allowed it.

“Jeremiah 27:14 For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also. 15 Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The Lord hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie. 16Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the Lord. 17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.”

“Jeremiah 33:10 Thus saith the Lord; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast, 11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the Lord of hosts: for the Lord is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the Lord. 12 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down. 13 In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith the Lord. 14 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah. 15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.”

Earth since being kicked out of the Garden has always been a land of Babylon with kings of Nebuchadnezzar.

“Jeremiah 44:28 Yet a small number that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, and all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words shall stand, mine, or their'
s.”

There was always God's remnant , that survived to keep the story of Jesus alive... Until Jesus comes again on those clouds the cycle of war will continue. In fact Jesus tells us ,there is coming wars and tribulation unlike what we just read, unlike any. We always want to be God's remnant that survives in Babylon under bad kings and bad prophets...Our strength in this life , times of war and tribulation comes from what Jesus did. Follow His example and hold on to His promise He is coming , He is watching who is His. Jeremiah brought a message that seemed contrary to what should be done , but so did Jesus.

The people in Jeremiah that thought they believed in God but did not listen . They wanted to hold on and surrender material things and property lines. This world was never ours it was always a war zone and only One wins, only One ends it, we do as Jesus told us to do until that time ...

The Lord is not mad today some are listening and becoming humble, His is amazing ...

Divorce is a tricky thing, especially since you have children. right now it's like a thorn in your side is gone, you may miss the thorn because it's familiar!

here is a link to a pdf by Dr. Joseph Murphy...you can click on the chapter link and it will take you straight to the chapter on divorce and marriage. Murphy quotes a lot of scripture and it may help. Not everyone on here may agree with his writings, and you may wish to pick the good fruit and leave the rest A lot in this book about mental outlook and healing your body that may help too.

Sometimes the circumstances are so bad, divorce is justified. When you have a spouse who's god is material things, money, and other things of the world, instead of the spiritual, and you try your best to help them in their blindness, but they refuse, you have to let go.
The same with an abusive spouse, whether they are abusive physically, emotionally, or financially, or a combination. They have made their choice, and do not follow them into the pit.
Even if the marriage is a total disaster, for a Christian to get a divorce is like getting your soul ripped in two,but sometimes you got to have some pain, to get a healing.
Prayers for you.

Prayers said for all.

Sandy has had another setback. She was hospitalized again, and is home now. Jewel is feeling better, but she has to go back to the Vet's again this week. Her ears are better, but not totally cleared up. Thomas has rebounded ! It appears he is in renal failure, but he is doing so much better. Yesterday he was in critical condition, today he is in fair condition. The vet called me this morning when I was getting ready for church,to give an update.

My husband has settled down, finally. I am standing my ground on all things with him. I am a Christian, but I am not his doormat.

Thursday is my dental/mouth surgery. I am trying to tie up loose ends before thursday, but I do not know if I will be able to.I do not expect to be on GLP for a few days after my surgery, but, knowing how stubborn I am, if I got to crawl to my computer, I will, LOL !

I took my new car to my mechanic to go over it with a fine tooth comb, and it is absolutely mechanically perfect. I am getting a few very minor interior/body issues rectified this week, hopefully, if the ordered parts and materials come in by wednesday. My youngest will load a pic of my new wheels on the computer, and I will definitely post it on here. God more than took care of me, concerning a new vehicle. He upgraded me, too!
I cannot give thanks enough for the Blessing I have received. I have not had a really nice car in 42 years.I have had good runners, but they all have been rather beat up. When I look in my driveway, it is like someone else's car is parked there, not mine.I am still crying tears of joy, off and on.

It has really been a crazy roller coaster ride here lately. God was in control, and I just strapped in and let Him take over.Glory to God !

Yes, the Lord does not care for divorce. Moses was given rules for it because people could not stay married but Jesus says this...

Matthew 19: 8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. 9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

Dont marry again.

Paul had lots of rules and said

1 Corinthians 7:15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

read all of Matthew 19 and 1 Corinthians 7 ask God to help you in this .

If you say to your wife God called us to not depart and she does anyways God wants peace over all.

Also not sure if you married under this

Matthew 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Did God put it together I know I did not include God in my first marriage, I did not listen in the second when He said no. It is tough so ask Him what He wants and go from there.

Our marriage was not in a church. It was infront of a judge and nothing more. She did not go to church at that time and I was not either. I had stopped going 4 years earlier.

She has not gone to any church since we were married. I have gone. I was not consistent, but have gone. I was praying every night for several years. She occasionally would too.

So was god in our marriage? I honestly would not say that he was. I tried to take my children to church, but they started to not like that. She asked me to not push it and I stopped. That is also when I stopped going on a regular basis.

I have been praying and asking for guidance over this.

God and His Son don't like divorce.

But at the same time, I've heard dozens of stories of families being broken up because one is a Believer (or is trying to Believe) and the others are basically "haters of God" / non-believers.

I firmly believe that Father God and His Son are trying to "reclaim" you to be one of their own.

But it is YOUR choice.

Be with your pagan family - OR - make a true commitment to God and His Son Jesus.

Our Lord told us to not be unequally yoked with unbelievers.
My divorce was due to abuse; our Father does not want us to be abused.
I pray daily for your health and for Christ to direct your steps in every way.

praying daily for everyone here!

I have two prayer requests - my son's ship goes out this week. please pray for his safety as he is deployed.

Please pray our house sells fast, if it is His will... we just put it on the market yesterday. We are retiring this summer. I know Our Lord has a buyer for our home. It is all in His perfect timing.

May Our Lord bless you all

May I ask for prayers for financial assistance? At least I am hoping my brother keeps his word and pays me back the money he owes me, which he could well afford, much more than I can.

Re: Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word
Revelation 20: 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Revelation 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
1Peter 3:19By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;

1 Peter 4:6For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

Luke 4:13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

John 12: 31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. 32And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Acts 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

Matthew 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Revelation 20: 9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Revelation20:11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

Luke 21: 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Matthew 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

John 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead

Revelation 21: And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Things happened we can not fully comprehend when Jesus came and preached in hell. One thing that is clear things have already happened and Scripture after Scriptures makes the Resurrection singular , “The Resurrection,” over and over.
We serve and love a God that made and can make a thousand years happen in a day. We love and serve a God that created the heavens and earth and His creations in six days. The old serpent which is the devil and satan twisted God's word in the Garden and today. Jesus is very clear, He was the first resurrection and we are waiting for “the,” next. There will be a generation alive that will face great tribulation but for those ready, they will understand why that did not follow the lies of the devil.

Jesus tells those before He went to Cross to be ready everyday , that message was for every generation.

“Mark 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.”

Do not think this or that has to happen , BE READY was always the message...

Ok, update. No pacemaker. They said that my heart is good, but I am still on this monitor for another 14 days.

I get to deal with oncology this week. The joys and hits just keep coming.

I have been praying. I have asked for visions, dreams or signs to help guide me in the path I need to take. I have been having some odd dreams.

The dreams have been of her and I enjoying times. Nothing historic, but in a house I have not seen in my life. Then I wake up. I ended up falling back to sleep again and this time it was of one of my female coworkers in the same odd house I have never seen. Doing the same things that my wife and I were doing. Nothing sexual, just living and enjoying ourselves, talking and the likes.

I dont get it. I do not have a thing for the coworker. I have not even thought of us even doing anything other than working together. I do not think of her outside of work. I have never fantasized about her or anything. Heck I the most we say to each other is hi and nothing more. So i am not understanding it.

I can see the wife in the dreams, but the coworker and I were doing the same things wife and I were doing.

Still depressed, and I know I need to get over it. I saw someone about it and they are telling me that I need to approach her over everything in a letter and see if she is willing to do counseling. He is a Christian counselor and we pray at the end.

Again, asking for signs, visions and dreams during my prayers to guide me in my path that He wants me to be on.

I just want to say, everyone in here is in my prayers too. Hope everyone has a blessed day.

When you want God to answer something clearly be specific I call a Gideon prayer.

Judges 6:36 And Gideon said unto God, If thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said,

37 Behold, I will put a fleece of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the fleece only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said.

38 And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the fleece together, and wringed the dew out of the fleece, a bowl full of water.

39 And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew.

40 And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the fleece only, and there was dew on all the ground.

Create your own request but see how Gideon was specific hfglad your heart is good.

Re: Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word
1 Chronicles 28:9 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek Him, He will be found of thee; but if thou forsake Him, He will cast thee off for ever.

2 Chronicles 7:19 But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them; 20 Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations. 21 And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the Lord done thus unto this land, and unto this house? 22 And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the Lord God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them.

1 Kings 11: 6 And Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, and went not fully after the Lord, as did David his father. 9 And the Lord was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the Lord God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice, 10 And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the Lord commanded.

The Lord really wants those confused with lies told since the 1940s , to understand the truth. ...Jesus is very clear what to build after the Cross and who the special people are. Jesus never called any place on earth special , His blood was spilled on this place , it is finished He says. God shows us with Cain and Able how He hates innocent blood spilled. Jesus changed genealogy and inheritance...

“Luke 3: 6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God. 7 Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.”

How clever satan is to twist the word of God and say the opposite of David , Jesus to John . We were to never defend land , non believers only the true word of God...Get alone with the Word , let Him open your hearts and minds before it is to late...
