Sandy update
I am here in Kingston New York posting on the hotel computer because my laptop is not working right. God is really watching over me, my friends, as several angels have indeed come across my path to get here, and help Sandy.
Sandy looks like a stick, except her belly is very distended. The cancer is all over her insides, and is causing extreme swelling. She is on oxygen, and is drifting in and out of sleep. She is on morphine, hydrocordone, and a fentanyl patch. I would say she only has a few days to live.
There is no one here to help her, except her husband Mike, and the little I can contribute. They have signed up for hospice, but that will give them a nurse for an hour a day, that's it. I cannot stay here very long, and will be taking the train back to Chicago tomorrow late afternoon. There is no family to help, and no friends. I feel so bad for both of them.
I have prayed with Sandy, and will do so until I have to leave to go home. She appreciates all the prayers, and the love you all have shown her.
God Bless You All ! Prayers said for all of you for your needs.

Quoting: tiger1 So glad that you made it! Mom had hospice, they do only come out for an hour a day but also are on call if something happens. We had to call them out for emergent situations several times. Continued prayers for Sandy. May Jesus send angels to comfort her in this time and may He give her husband the strength to keep going. Keeping you in my continual prayers too. Quoting: NOLAangel Oh Tiger...My heart breaks over the suffering. When we went through this with my dad, the most powerful thing was when Yah told me to anoint him with oil. I just asked that whatever words came out of my mouth were from Yah, not my own words. He showed peace after that. My mom and sister anointed him a few more times before he passed.
Please let Sandy know we are praying for her shalom and for her husband, and that she is loved and did well.
Prayers for all in need...Peace.
