Jesus changed many things and some of the hardest changes to learn was and is ownership and relationships.

Mary , the mother of Jesus shows us people are not ours, we are stewards of what He gives us. I love my mother but she belongs to God. Once I really understand that as she gets older, I can have peace . I love my daughter but she belongs to God. Once I really understand that when she is absence from my life ,I can have peace. I love my grandchildren but they are not mine they are God's and that is my peace.
The hardest thing in following Jesus , is to unlearn what the world teaches about ownership and relationships.

The parables are very clear nothing is ours everything is on loan. If someone does wrong to anyone we love , they do wrong to God not our loved ones. That is the clear message in the life and death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Claiming ownership of anything on earth is denying the story of Mary and Jesus...So if God has placed people , money , land or any talent in our lives , understand they belong to God and He watches what we do with them...

Having faith in God is what Mary shows in the birth and life of Jesus , then at the Cross... My grandmother gave birth to my mom but she belongs to God. My mom gave birth to me but I belong to God. I gave birth to my daughter but she belongs to God. If we ever can wrap our heads around that the power of man made ownership , looses all power... If we ever wrap our heads around that, we would never do wrongs to another person, the wrongs are done to God not a person...
