The "Bigger Picture".

When "negative" events happen in folk's lives, or even periods of time where nothing seems to go right, many get depressed and ask God or His Son "why?".

Sometimes it takes months or even years for what the Father's "Will" reveals itself to have been.

Yet sometimes it's evident immediately.

The best tire on my truck blew out last Thursday right in front of my house, and with a spare that was severely "weather cracked", I knew I had to plop down $350+ for a pair of new tires.

I considered it a "blessing in disguise" that the tire didn't blow out while I was going down a hill somewhere at 60+ mph.

Yesterday, when the truck was up in the air on the hoist, I noticed a fluid leak near the rear axle. It was brake fluid, and we discovered that one of my brake lines has a nasty rust "hole" in it.

Once again...imagine if my brakes gone out going down a hill at 60+ mph.

Yeah...I gotta cough up more money for repairs, but it's clear that the Father and His Son are watching over me still, as things could have ended up a whole lot worse.
