2 John: 1The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth; 2 For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever. 3Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 4 I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father. 5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. 6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it. 7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.


No one knows for sure who John wrote this letter to but it is for every generation . Lady is only in Scriptures four times , two times in John and two times in Isaiah.
This very short chapter is very powerful. “Verse 6 And this is love, that we walk after His commandments, “ is very clear what true love is.
Verse “9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God, “ is very clear who is of God.
Verses “10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds, “ are very clear we can not let those of any other doctrine in our house , church ect. We can not even say “God speed.”

The Lord is showing us we are a long ways from 2 John , we are a mixture of all kinds of things.
The two mass shootings in the last 24 hours should open our eyes. I have heard things like why, never thought this would happen and why are the shooters, males in their 20s.

Since Cain and Abel there are two sources of spirits , darkness and light. We never needed to encourage the darkness , we had to encourage Light ,as John did in that chapter. For at least five decades we have sent children five days a week , eight hours a day , for twelve plus years into darkness and expected everything to be alright. We sent them to a place God is not the teacher , the Bible is not the spelling, history or science book and expected them to Abel after twelve plus years of darkness.

To think the books children are made to learn twelve plus years , eight hours a day and five days a week, are not darkness is to not understand 2 John. Evil is natural it comes easy on earth , we encourage it with play time , movies , games and education. Jesus is very clear how hard it is to follow Him. Each generation had to be ready by eighteen to walk in a very dark world and remain Daniel.
We could not be afraid of being different , we had to “love in the truth.

” We had to “walk in truth,” and not even greet darkness, much less teach , love and encourage it.
The harvest is something we cannot be afraid of . But few understand what a harvest really looks like.
Surviving Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21 , 2 Peter and 2 Timothy was what we were to teach the children to do. What the harvest looks like is found in Noah, Moses and Pharaoh , Sodom, Job or Jonah are just a few.
Our enemy satan, whispers we can be in light and darkness and survive. Our enemy satan, whispers blame the weapon, blame the person, blame not having mental health. We do not know the history of all mass shooters, but there is a 100 % chance they spent most their of their time greeting darkness and not loving or walking in truth.

We are in big trouble and never saw it coming, because we did not know what real love was...To ever think the Lord was ever happy with an education system , that the Bible was not the main subject was a lie and 2 John was not understood. To ever think we were to have play time and entertainment were darkness is , is a lie. To ever think we were to go to territories of evil and buy , sell and trade is a lie.
We were to want those in the dark to come to he Light. We were to never do the opposite, evil is natural and easy. Finding love in anything outside God ,is darkness... We forgot what war we were in...Lord help us...
