Prayers said for all.

I have been quite tied up with many things, mostly funerals and wakes. So many people I know have died lately, people from my church, and several acquaintances and friends. One of my friends,Sandy H., who has been a friend of mine for 46 years,passed away at 3:15am central time this morning.I was there with her yesterday afternoon and evening.She had throat cancer. Her older brother died of throat cancer when he was in his 40's, and her younger brother died of brain cancer when he was in his 30's. Sandy H husband Tom, died of liver cancer 4 years ago.

It seems I spend most of my time at death vigils, funeral homes, and cemetery's. When I get the call that a friend is dying, and I am wanted there, I drop everything and go. All I can do for them, is talk to them, pray with them or for them, and try to comfort their loved ones.Sandy H family and hospice repeated called her church every day for a week, trying to get the pastor to come over, to no avail. He finally called this morning, too late, IMO, as Sandy H died hours before he called. I am a sore substitute for a Preacher or Priest, but I did what I could.

So, this is why I have not been on much lately.
