I am a bundle of different emotions this morning. My son is leaving the state to train for a new job. While I am happy he has found this job, the mom part of me is sad.

When I prayed this morning, God reminded me that a man should leave his home, mother and father, as in Matthew 19.

Praying for all and please pray for me that I will be strong for him when he departs this morning and that I will not break down and cry.

It's OK to break down and cry; mothers are forever.
Praying for his safety and direction...

Praying for you this morning NOLAangel, i understand. Crying is fine to do, but be strong.

Psalms 56 8 Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

Prayers for all hf

Oh I completely understand! I burst out crying when mine put on his Navy whites uniform and officially pledged to serve in the Navy at the day of college graduation after doing ROTC. Mine left the state also.

It's so hard for us moms.. When did they grow up so fast!?

Will pray for you!

When my youngest finally moves out on her own, I will just go to pieces. I don't want my baby to leave, but she is an adult, and has to go down her own path. You WILL break down and cry. I am about ready to cry with you, as I can feel your pain. Praying for you and your son, my friend ! hugs
