Acts 23:7And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees: and the multitude was divided. 8For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.9And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God. 10 And when there arose a great dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should have been pulled in pieces of them, commanded the soldiers to go down, and to take him by force from among them, and to bring him into the castle. 11And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.

Here , we see why in Galatians religious sects are a no ,no into entering the Kingdom of Heaven. We are divided not by two sects but thousands today. Why is it the Pharisees found no evil and did not want to have any part of fighting God???? The Sadducess did not believe in “resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both...

“Acts 23:6But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question. “

Religious sects then and now choose , add and take away what they want to believe in. Someone passed down to the Pharisee in Acts , generation after generation that there was a resurrection and Spirit, so why did they not see Jesus was Jesus.
“Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.”
“Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

The most dangerous job on earth ,as we can see by the life of Paul and the others is protecting ,every word of God... One Book , One Story , One Beginning and One End. We live in a time no different than Acts 23 , fighting against God and do not even know it. We are divided by many things , the Word of God always backs the Word of God.

God shows us with Paul , He never does things as men do them. He never picks who men would pick. It should break our hearts they had teachers that did not have them ready for Jesus. It should break our hearts all they did to Paul because he was called by Jesus to witness ...Seems that was always in the job description to be a remnant...Paul was raised to believe in the resurrection and Spirit. Jesus had to blind him to unlearn all man taught and teach the Whole Word of God.

From Moses on and all the prophets given in the Word , was added and taken away from for the scene to happen in Acts 23 and 24. The fight satan started in the Garden with “did God really say,” never ended. satan has worked hard to divide and make earthly offers and not have people ready for Jesus coming. satan used religious sects then and even more now , satan was bold enough to offer Jesus kingdoms. We always had to remember who the real enemy is and how good he is at his job...We only have to walk any small town of religious sect buildings to see proof of that... We were to all eat and drink the Word of God together as One. We never understood the power of that, but satan did...

Get away from religious sects was the call then and today, find a Peter or Paul, they will be unpopular and even persecuted...They will not be associated with any religious sect. Paul had to be removed from such....
