2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.

Romans 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

We are in a sea of these terms. Backbiters is a word not used much but the Lord has shown me I am surrounded by them as well as itching ears. I have no clue who they are but He does. A backbiter is someone that slanders another person. To make a slander is to make a false statement about someone and most of the time while they are not present. A true follower of Jesus will live by what He spoke of on these things.

“Proverbs 10:18 He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.
1 Peter 2:1Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings.
Proverbs 6:16These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.”

Those are just a few places we see how much the Lord hates such. If you are a part of any of the terms in Romans or Timothy get out of them. Never and I mean never listen to anyone that does not fear the Lord.

“32Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”

Death and not seeing Jesus is not worth anything this world offers. Slander may come against me or you but the Lord knows who they are. A person of the Lord knows to have no part in such. Pray for those that do not know or fear the Lord ,that knows all things...It is happening in the world of politics , churches and families and evidently in my life. That list in Timothy and Romans is just a few things that helped send Jesus to the Cross, have no part in what God hates.

A true follower of the Lord knows to go directly to the person in question. The enemy of God uses that list of things God hates. Never listen to anyone that is the enemy of the Lord. Jesus hears our thoughts much less conversations, never say anything you would not want Him to hear or the person being slandered.
