What if Jesus was your moving company? Anyone that knows me , knows all I have been doing the last few months is packing, going to the county waste field and giving away stuff...From Hurricane Harvey to all that has happened since , the Lord is showing us all we did not and do not follow Matthew 6:19. I assume a certain date is coming I will move from where I am to another physical location. What if Jesus comes to move me to my permanent home before then? What would He find I left behind, is the question we should all ask and ponder today. I was to never be found having more than I need ,so I see I still am and would have been a lot of trouble if He came last month. As I draw closer to having each room packed except what we use, it came to me all I ever needed is what I use. I saw over Thanksgivings a community gave thanks for all they lost in a tornado. There have been days of packing and stressing over how and what to move, a tornado would have been a welcome thing. Today I thought about what I kept and what I got rid of and now wish I had got rid of more. Noah and Moses is our great examples of taking what you need and starting over. I would have never want loved ones to deal with all my junk of the past, when I am gone from earth. Today take time to imagine Jesus is coming to move us and He will see all we have, is the call. “Matthew 6: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” No one knows when Jesus is coming for one person ,much less for all that followed Him. I have prayed that anyone He wants to take my earthly treasures , have them. The tiny home movement is not coincidence.
