Jonah 3:5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. 6 For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
7And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water: 8But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.
Hebrews 1:God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. 9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. 10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: 11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; 12And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
Hebrews 2:Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

I love when the Lord pulls from Jonah, the message is timeless. We were to never stop doing as they did that day and God repented. Can you imagine if Washington DC did this. Hebrews is very clear we are to take a more “ earnest heed to the things which we have heard.” The enemy , the devil has us so divided even the smallest down does not have a Nineveh day for the Lord. We should find it sad we do not think we are evil and need a Nineveh day. We should find it sad we do not love the Lord enough to do this ,yet will for sports, weddings or funerals.

My heart hurt when I heard all the noise being made for a ballgame yesterday and wished that is was being done for the Lord. There is coming a day earth will perish and everything will stop and everything will become all about our Lord God in Heaven. Everything right now on the stage is all about man from our government to the smallest town. Jesus said this would happen. While Washington DC or the smallest town will not have a Nineveh day as One , we can as individual homes. Christmas is not even all about the Lord, it is just gross what we have done. To not think everything should stop and have a Nineveh day , is to not understand what is coming.

“ Cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands, “ is the call today for a God that “ loves righteousness, and hates iniquity.”

If Jesus returned right before everyone went to that tree to open gifts , what would He find in and with His name on it? What does Jesus want for His birthday??? We all had our personal birthdays this year... satan was very clever to make everything , even Christmas about us...
Have a Nineveh day is the call. Having a Nineveh day, would be on the birthday list from Jesus...
This moment in time the world is Nineveh before Jonah went there. To not see or understand this is what Jesus told us would happen.

“Jonah 3:4And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. “
Repent, Jesus is coming and everything will stop and every knee will bow, like it or not...We want to be found “ loving righteousness, and hating iniquity.” Know what righteousness and iniquity are to the Lord , not what the lies of satan say they are. Nineveh is just one example for us of what God loves and hates... It was and is all about Him.
