3rd message


Hebrews 2: 5 For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest him? 7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: 8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

John 19:11Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

Right now Jesus is in charge fighting for us to have another day. I look back at my life and am ever so grateful I did not die in my sins. I think of all the worldly things I loved more than Him before I really knew of His love. Now I ask daily why on earth would we ever want to spend another day without Him. Why on earth would I want anything on this earth that would keep me from such a precious gift.
They killed the body of Jesus that day in John fighting for earthly things. Today nations people all around the world are killing for earthly things. The message of the Cross was we want nothing this place has to offer.

“Hebrews 2:8But now we see not yet all things put under him.” Jesus is coming back for those that hated this life and wanted to follow Him. Earthly kings oppress and kill to keep earthly things. We have access to the King that died for us if we do not live sin and follow Him. The only way to not sin on this battle field, is to die to the world daily , hate this place that killed and spilled His blood. That is what the Cross did for us, take up that Cross today and hate this planet that took pride in killing the most precious life ever to walk on earth.

Jesus gave all things over to God that day of the Cross, God gave all things over to Jesus. To ever think Jesus does not feel that mocking, nails , spear or thorns daily when we kill, steal and destroy for earthly things , is to never have understood the Cross...

“Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”

I made Jesus feel pain and be sad for a long time ,until I understood Luke 9:23...Look at what is causing Jesus pain today and get rid of it , is the call. God will give no warning in Heaven or earth when He tells Jesus go. We need to be ready and hate this planet that was and is so vile ,God allowed the power of what they did to Jesus that day...

We either Love Jesus and hate this world and all if offers ,or we take what this world offers and eternity without Jesus...Today He is still helping us make that decision with all He is in charge of. If we do not think Jesus is on charge of wars, earthquakes , fires , droughts , sickness or storms then we missed what Hebrews 2 is saying... Jesus warned us of all those things in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. That is His love to help us hate this world and long for His....Lord help us ….
