Job 37:12And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth. 13He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.

Job 37:13 is one of my go to verses when I need reminding why the storms of this life come as they do. We can not be “ holy and without blame before him in love, “ without His correction. We live in a time of many different doctrines of what love is and how to get to Heaven. Jesus did not go to that Cross for us to play around with God's Word.
“2 Peter 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.”

Peter and Paul reminds the seriousness of that Cross and everyday we wake we are to work on cleaning our spots of sin and to be found blameless. We lowered the standards what it means to follow Jesus but He told us we would. Today we have a chance to work on our spots. If we are facing anything Job faced it is a correction. If we are facing anything Pharaoh faced with Moses, it is a warning , that is the Mercy and Love of God...All God's creations listen and obey better than humans, they always did.

“Job 37:22 Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty. 23 Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict. 24Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.”

Read Job 1, 2 then 32-42 to help recall how God's love and mercy can be seen in. Jesus told us fearful sights would and will come .If we do not fear those things but fear the Lord and walk in His ways , that is perfect love...

“Job 33:30 To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.”
