Roy Update.

The lung biopsy for today has been rescheduled for tomorrow afternoon at 1pm Central time.They were going to have to squeeze it in, and they need more time to do the biopsy than what was available today.

The doctor came in this morning.He said that the bottom of Roy's right lung is one big mass. :( I discussed the options and the prognosis with Roy this morning, depending on the results of the lung biopsy tomorrow.If it turns out to be cancer as they think it is, depending on the type, he has 2 months to maybe a year to live, and that is with treatment.

I have not told the kids what the doctor said this morning.I might wait until after the lung biopsy tomorrow. All 3 will freak out, the oldest and youngest will totally break down, and the middle one will be totally panicked.I can just barely contain myself, as I am on the verge of a breakdown, and getting virtually no sleep is not helping.

I am going to try to take a nap after I get done washing and drying 2 throw rugs and my shoes.They are in the washer right now. I took Jewel out as soon as I got home, but it was too late. The poor dog hasn't been out since 7am. She is an older dog, 10 years old, and she cannot hold it that long. The 2 throw rugs got dribbled. Then, when i took her out, I stepped in doo-doo, and it wasn't from Jewel, as I pick up after her. So, that is why my shoes are in the washer with the 2 throw rugs. :(
