Roy Update.

Every day is worse. My oldest Mary K, is coming here every day now to give me a hand from 9am to 5pm. My youngest, Alexandra, is working from home,and has to be online for the bookkeeping and conferences from 8am to 5pm or later. She has abruptly stopped her work many times because of a crisis with Roy. Her company is starting massive layoffs, and I am worried about her job. Roy's mind is 90% gone. He has lucid moments, but not too many.Earlier, he looked at me and said "I am dying". I replied that I know, and I will be with him until the end.

I went to the local store for the senior shopping hour from 6am to 7am. This is my once a week to get out of the house for an hour. I came home to a mess. When I left, Alexandra was still sleeping and so was Roy.I came home with a load of groceries at 7am,Alexandra is still sleeping, and Roy is standing in front of the open window with no pants on, feces streaked down his legs, and 5 pills in his hand. Totally incoherent.I take the pills away,close the blinds, clean him up and everything else that was messed up, and got underwear on him. I had to wash a quick load of sweatpants, as the last clean pair was wrecked.When Mary K got here, I ran back out to the store and bought baby wipes, chuks, and more laundry soap.

Roy did take his seizure medicine this morning. If we can keep the seizures at bay, this will be less complicated.The seizures, IMO, have taken away Roy's brain function. The doctor wrote another prescription for the morphine, and Alexandra picked it up yesterday. We can't get a months supply at a time, it is weekly only, per regulations.So every monday I have to call the doctor, to call in another prescription for the morphine.GEESH !
