I took "Princess" to the Vet. She got a checkup and a rabies shot. I called Animal Control to tell them that if no one claims her by Thursday, Friday morning I am getting her city license, as she is staying.
I honestly thought she was less than a year old, as she is very small for a Staffie. She is, according to the Vet's estimate, 4-6 years old. She looks and acts like a puppy, but she is a mature dog ! She is underweight. She is 36 pounds and should be about 45-50 pounds for her breed.
Jewel is mellowing out towards her, and the cats are very unhappy. She licks Angel, my Persian, and Angel hates it. Misty, the Angora/Alley Cat mix, is acting like the cat from Hades. We have had a few rumbles here, but that is normal when you introduce a new fur baby to the family.
Roy is in a state of confusion, and is very combative today.
Quoting: tiger1 Not a prayer per se, just another instance of God working in mysterious ways. Last September my wife and I parted ways. I left her the house and we just agreed that all debts were cancelled and I moved out. Our morality systems no longer functioned together once I found Christ. SO I moved into a small cabin (I don't need much space) that I helped build 12 years ago or so.
The house beside the cabin, is very old and the renter in perpetuity (18 years now) is a Catechumen in the Russian Orthodox. We had planned on me moving into the cabin and then 2 weeks before, a black, polydactly maybe 5 month old kitten moved in under the house (it is slightly elevated to allow water run off), it was sleeping on the top of the hot water tank.
So I moved in, the property mate and I had both had visitations by the Holy Spirit (and are kind of considered pariahs in the community full of leftists), and we have a cat, with 24 toes, who goes back and forth between my cabin and his house. She has taken on a black bear, a lynx and a racoon. SHe pushes my door open when I want her to be about, and knows how to open it?
Best cat I have ever found, showing up at exactly the right time to give comfort (divorce because of a moral split is a rather tough thing to go through because I had hoped I could share the Love of God with her) to me, and to my property mate. Neither of us found this coincidental. Though semi-feral, she is the most pampered semi-feral cat in the world.
God Bless us all!
