I was a member long ago of a group that taught how to deal with brain disease. The number one rule when they start losing memory is when they dont remember something is to say ok and move on. Some of his anger could be from knowing something is wrong he cant understand. Love ya Tiger it is hard road , prayers..

Tiger, I continue to pray for you each and every day, joined by the many prayers of this group of His people; may the Lord give you strength and endurance, and keep His holy angels close by your family for protection.

Praying for you Tiger. Sorry to hear. Just know he's losing cognitive function because of the illness and that it is not anything he's done to lose the memories.

Maybe just live in the present with him, because he might get sad and frustrated that he can't remember these things....

I remember my grandma losing cognitive function, and one time she said to my mom "Whose little girl are you?" My mom was hurt that her own mom didn't know her. Then my grandma was upset that she couldn't remember what my mom was telling her.

That's a great idea.

What GFG advised is what you have to do with dementia or Alzheimer's or any cognitive issue with infirmity. You can't take it personally as it's just a neural breakdown.

I definitely will !

I told him I am going to church in the morning, and he did say he can't go with me because he is too weak.
He doesn't go to church at all, with no excuses whatsoever!!!

Praying for you and Roy....with your daughters and other family....where two or more are gathered in My Name, Jesus said...your house is your church, too...
Try holding his hand if you think he’s getting upset..
I am so sorry you are going through this ...you are loved...

Maybe take advantage of this time to introduce him to at least the sinners prayer. You know best about what you can and can't do.

Go from there. Keep it simple.

Too complicated - and repeating someone else's words don't make it from the heart.

The thief on the cross wasn't reading a script.

All Roy needs to do is confess Belief and ask forgiveness.

Today let the Holy Spirit of God be our preacher and teacher is the call. Humans have taught humans so long we do not know how to not be by or of men...If you have not been Baptized with water and the Spirit as Jesus showed us , today is the day. The Spirit Paul received helped him finish his race and can ours as well. Nothing changed except man replaced the Author and Finisher with, of man and my man...



Make God the Father , Jesus Christ our Saviour and the Holy Spirit all we need today , is the call...
