There's some software I can load up that works similar, and it also gives you movies as they air in theaters. Quoting: TwoInThePink Yea, I forgot to mention "movies that are still in theaters" And it's legal? Last Edited by PoeticallyIncorrect on 11/19/2015 11:39 PM Did you give me red karma out of spite? |

I would suspect with the "fee" you may get your payment information stolen. Quoting: ByFaithAlone It sounds so tempting...I don't even watch TV..and i'm sure everything is accessible via the internet anyways but still... I took a look at there FAQs page. It's just kodi preloaded onto a box. I couldn't find there fee chart but you can buy boxes and Android sticks with this on it or build your own as the poster above with raspberry pi. I've seen them in the store under 30$ probably not very good processing power but if you ask I'm sure some here have them and could help your search. I haven't looked into them because I have tower setup hooked to my TV that is setup for it. |

John Hopkins User ID: 75214856 United States 07/11/2017 05:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Short answer: NO, it is not legit. Long answer: Tiger Stream is essentially a downloader that takes digital media from the internet and displays it on your TV, monitor, etc. It is able to use a variety of internet sites to provide downloadable content to the user for free after purchase. It should be obvious to everyone that no business would ever do this because the amount they would make from online content would fall to $0 and the only money they would make would be from NEW purchases of the Tiger Stream box. The Tiger in the product name refers to China (such as the WW2 American ex-pat air force that helped to defend China from Japan known as the Flying Tigers) which is the country where this product is manufactured. China has a poor intellectual property integrity record and routinely steals copyrighted and trademarked materials from around the world; this product continues that tradition. This product is essentially an intellectual property theft box designed to display both legitimate lawful digital content and illegal pirated digital content. The content most desired by the average user will be current movies, TV shows, and Pay-Per-View events as well as other protected content like Cable News and Documentaries, etc that usually require cable subscriptions or purchases. This box circumvents those purchases by using pirate websites that have illegally accumulated digital content available to stream to a viewing device using the box. This is plainly a violation of copyright law and is not legal in the United States. One clear indicator that this device is not approved for use in the USA is the fact that they do not display a label (i.e. sticker) from Underwriters Laboratory (UL) which checks nearly all electronic devices for FCC compliance and safety sold in the USA. Look on your legit electronics, usually on the back or underneath, for a white sticker that has a "UL" logo on it. Nearly all legit electronics sold in the USA have this sticker; Tiger Stream does not. Another issue with Tiger Stream is that, since it is a theft device that only makes it manufacturers money from NEW sales, it is not supported properly after sale. This means that the pirate sites it uses to steal copyrighted material will occasionally be shut down by law enforcement agencies of various countries after which the box will not be able to access content resulting in a downward spiral of content availability. My ex got one of these and this is exactly what she noticed. Not only did content stop showing up but the OS and other programs used by the box were not updated as often as necessary by the manufacturer and the box eventually stopped working reliably after less than 18 months. If you still wonder if this is legal then ask yourself why a company would sell a device like this for a few hundred dollars when PPV events alone would bring in much more money per year than the price charged for this box; not to mention cable subscription and movie fees. Do big companies want to give you a bunch of free stuff? Does that sound like it is real? You are free to do as you will but I thought I would give you guys some info before you make your choice. The decision is yours. Good luck. |

About $100.00 and (if you download TV Addons) you can watch anything you want - assuming you have a decent internet connection. All I'm finding out about that is that it's for Android only or something like that. Guys... This is nothing more than a well promoted Kodi Box. As soon as their "support staff" dwindles you'll be left out of the loop. My suggestion is to look into various CHEAP setups and learn how to maintain them yourself. Knowledge is your power to staying current with the streams. This reminds me of the old saying. "Give a Man a Fish, and You Feed Him for a Day. Teach a Man To Fish, and You Feed Him for a Lifetime." Do you want to buy a $350.00 fish???? and eat today or, do you want to take around 40 bucks and put a little effort into it and eat until the fish run dry. One of these days... A *REAL* rain is gonna come and wash all this scum off the streets. |

But joking aside, it's illegal. |
