United States 10/12/2006 10:34 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Is the vote in America so corrupt, so manipulated that it is an exercise in futility now? Vote fraud was rampant in 2000 and 2004 and Bush was selected as president amid widespread fraud, especially in Florida. Now with the diebold machines I believe that voting is simply for the illusion that we the people have a say when in reality TPTB have already determined the outcome. |

Until it is mandatory that all electronic voting machines also have a paper verified ballot for recounts there will be no elections, only selections. |

It has been that way from the very beginning of your country, with it's enslavement of the Black Man and genocide of the Indian. You have always had only one more party than the Soviets under Stalin. That is why Isaac Brock died for us. owner of an extensive collection of curios from the exotic orient |

Since only U.S. citizens can vote in elections, only U.S. citizens should be allowed to contribute to election campaigns. No money whatsoever should be allowed from any other source. And, the amount of contribution from any individual, including the candidate themself, needs to be limited so that elections can't be "bought" by the elite. Media should be required to air debates between all candidates in return for the citizens allowing the media to use the public airwaves. The candidate must have a certain number of signatures in order to be a qualified candidate and eligible to participate in the debates. |
