Update: Officers say more than 500 people were gathering in a playground to shoot a music video.

They tell WGNO the event was unpermitted and unplanned and police were on their way to disrupt the gathering when the suspects began shooting into the crowd.

sounds like it was a gangster movie
and they wanted a realistic shootout scene,
with hundreds of horrified and unpaid extras.

There's a lot of contradictory information. First they said the shooting was not related to the video being filmed and it took place in another area, now they're saying it is related.

Sorry, I don't know who did the shooting but being from Chicago, I've never seen a black person, group or gang shoot into a crowd where there were video cameras. I mean that would be seriously dumb. Must have been a refugee or a refugee, both wearing black clothes and scarves covering their heads and faces.
