Just because you can be a vegan and thrive on that diet, does not mean that everyone can. Certain of us, not me, require red meat in our diets in order to have maximum health. For those folks, eliminating all animal products will lead to illness and other health problems. So, unfortunately, you are incorrect. FWIW, I only eat red meat a couple times a year and probably eat way too much dang chicken. The best food source for me is turkey, preferably dark meat. The evidence for what I'm saying is available. Research Dr. D'Adamo. |

However, it's a fantasy to think everybody is going to give up meat. Allow real free range animals. No growth hormoes and artificial shiat. Treat the animals well and don't shove them into tight areas where they will live a shitty life. |

Ah I see, you've bought the lie its "evolving". Your need for self righteousness has you latching onto that excuse as your justification for adopting veganism. See, cause now if you eat meat you don't feel "evolved". The Do Not touch, Do not eat, Do not handle of religion has a grip on you. If you comply, you feel righteous. If you do not comply, you feel unrighteous. And from that self righteousness you now deem meat eaters as "un-evolved", right? The truth is you have neither evolved or un-evolved. |

Unfortunately, for me, I've just not accomplished being a vegan, but it is a desire of mine. This is true. I tried to be a vegetarian for two years it nearly killed me. Even now I notice a huge difference in my energy if I don't eat red meat at least once a week. I am naturally and organically drawn to easy to fix foods like fresh veg etc due to my work schedule... And lazy lol... But I pay in a big way if I forget to eat a nice fat red something at least once. When I am engaged in high energy physical activity I'm absolutely useless unless I eat red meat. While I am certain there are some fit healthy vegans whose blood type permits this sort of diet.. Most of the ones I know are type O and lawd they are pastey and sickly. Eat right for your blood type and don't let the vegan veggie cults harass you. I went to a retreat once where the diet choices in the chow hall were veggie or vegan. I had to eat two full plates of food just to make it to the next meal. I was literally starving to death in between meals. Also when I was veggie and when I do a course of fresh and raw I have to carry bags of food with me or I just fade away. You cannot conduct life with food continually in your mouth... Also a bit of bad news for the veggie vegan culties... You will quite simply die and die fast without just in time shipping and or shelves full of food you store to survive in hard times because most climates simply do not support year round growing that eating that way demands. Eat how you want but try your best to eat mindful non gmo factory farmed foods. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 69395473 United States 11/23/2015 04:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Also very bad news for women who are vegan and get the majority of their protein from soy products. Most soy is GMO and soy in particular with fuck your up re hormones. Seriously fuck you up. I won't touch soy in anything. Also for the concerned... free range does not equal cage free which is inhumane and I avoid pork because it is almost impossible to find humanely farmed pork... Sigh... And I love bacon. :( another marketing trick is "vegetarian fed"... That also does not equal pasture fed or grass fed. That means they are inhumanely raised cattle fed GMO grains on a feed lot. Grass fed! Or no meat! |
