Dear Students, Faculty and Staff:

The University has issued an Emergency Warning and activated the sirens. Police report an armed and dangerous person on or near campus.

University police are advising all students, faculty and staff to:

- Seek shelter indoors now.
- Close windows and doors.
- Stay until further notice.

I'm really glad that they changed to law regarding guns on campus. I feel really safe knowing that I'm allowed to have mine safely locked in my car-10 min. walk from my building!!!

Yep, one blg away. chances are there was an ROTC person entering his bld with a long rifle and someone freaked out. I am not sure if they have prop guns to train with in there or not.

I was in JROTC in high school (in the 90's) and we had a shooting range on school grounds that we used twice a week.

This time, maybe someone will fly by a drone and land it on a roof to record everything..
