Project Veritas, the organization behind this shoddy piece of “journalism” has been repeatedly vilified for dishonest, deceitful activity. It is shameful that any individual would pose as a student facing racial discrimination at another university, ask leading questions on hidden camera about Cornell’s tolerance for differing viewpoints and backgrounds, and then conveniently splice together the resulting footage to smear our assistant dean and our University. After speaking with Assistant Dean Scaffido, I am convinced that he was not aware of what he was being asked.

A bigoted ISIS Support Group who hate Christians and anyone that is not a Sunni Wahhabist Muslim and wants to kill all Non-Sunni Wahhabist Muslims is ok by the Cultural Marxists but if white students want to form a union to look out for increasingly marginalized white students it is automatically racist, dangerous and white supremacist and not allowed but every other race is allowed to have a student union or special group to look out for their interests and it isn't considered racist or supremacist.

This is just a case of a guy who is DUMB.

Honestly I don't think he understood that by saying "freedom fighters" the guy meant ISIS. Even the way he talked about it was mildly vague- yes a normal and half awake person should have caught on, but then again you are talking about a super PC ultra liberal world of college and a situation involving a potential student who is asking questions... probably just an idiot who was "yessing" a potential future student because the university makes 200-300 thousand dollars or more per student and they love to be able to claim how diverse they are because it is "hip" these days.

If the guys would have said, "Can we bring in an ISIS fighter to talk on the university dime and start an ISIS training camp?" I would imagine the guy MIGHT have caught on and said oh I don't know we would have to check on that.. or something along those lines.

By all means, continue to rage, but that is what it looked like to me: just a fat idiot trying to be PC to the pile of money on the other side of his desk.

Nothing has been debunked, nor was the fact that the "kid" was a journalist posing these questions even attempted to be kept a secret. It still doesn't excuse a US professor saying that the university will pay $4-5 thousand of university funds to have an ISIS fighter come train US students.
