Let's make the counts. 50% of the voters did not go to the vote. Among the 50% who voted, 60% of the voters voted for traditional parties. 27% votes for the Republicans 23% votes for the Socialists 10% votes for various Left Wing groups 30% votes for Marine Le Pen candidates. I would not call this a spectacular result. The 50% who did not vote are happy with things as they are, or they would have gone voting.  How does the system work in France as regards the Presidency? Could she become President even if her party didn't run the country?
