Light particles really don't travel, they are regenerated, reincarnated to assume the consequential position of the previous life's consequential flow. You can say a Gatling gun of big bangs firing off, but its not from a singularity,but rather everywhere at once.
The space in-between may as well be eternity, that zero factor that is void of the compromising influence of all of us rogue operating programs acting as viruses; viruses quarantined in this dimensional confine, a confine acting as an opportunity for redemption so that we can be restored with the operational program of love that allows us to live harmoniously within the actual matrix without contaminating it with the very "evil" that is destroying and has been a destructive influence on mankind.

Your take on reality is interesting and I've thought about it in those terms as well, but not exactly as you.
IMO, the human body/brain does indeed act much like a computer. There are SO many similarities. I see it as a fractal of nature, so to speak. Repeating patterns everywhere.
Humans, and all of our antics, are also a part of nature. But it's much more challenging to pull our perspectives back far enough to get a higher point of view. As in...You can't see the forest for the tree's. If we could get a higher point of view I think it would be easier to see the big picture. Maybe it's not so much that there are rights and wrongs, but there are many different parts that make up a whole. Each part seems different and separate, but when you pull back and see it from a distance it makes up one complete picture. (kind of)
This thread is really about trying to tie in the theory/idea that indeed, there are infinite reality/multiverses in and all around us...and one of the clues is how particles or atoms blink or regenerate or reincarnate billions of times per second. Combined with the idea that our brains can only 'perceive' a certain speed per second.
What's going on during all the blips that our minds cannot perceive?
I'm postulating that we are living infinite realities in what we may consider "All at the same time". While we are not perceiving here, we are perceiving "somewhere else" billions of times per second. This human form only perceives of this reality. Our higher selves go one each second to live other realities that our fleshly bodies and brains cannot see or perceive.
It's not an uncommon philosophy...I'm just trying to put a little teeth to the idea through massaging quantum theory here and there.
Most scientific theories tend to postulate that Matter forms consciousness. I believe that it's consciousness first, then Matter.
To further that, I would say that this reality that we are experiencing is like the reflection in the mirror. This life is the 'reflection'. The real image is the unseen frequencies that our brains translate into our interpretation of the signals/frequencies. Frequency first, reality second.
Don't like what you see in the mirror of life? Then change the real image/frequency...not the reflection in the mirror.
Or something like that. :)
