I've suspected this from the beginning. His job is to divide the Republican Party establishment and make the republican base look ridiculous for supporting him. After his comments yesterday, I think it's even more obvious. I know that this forum has racist tendencies lately, and a lot of you guys honestly believe in what he is saying, but you should really take a step back and remove your emotions from the situation and look at what is really happening. Isis (or TPTB if they control them) want you to equate every Muslim with terrorism. They want to inspire widespread hate which will only serve to radicalize people on both sides and push the world further into chaos.

The things trump is saying at this point are making him and the USA look truly ridiculous to everyone except the hardcore right who believes Obama is a secret Muslim with a fake birth certificate. The republicans tried to tell everyone that this was a tiny minority of their base - the next few months will tell. If that is true, his numbers will start to plummet over the next few weeks. I don't see that happening.

Again, they have you eating out of their hand. Fundamentalist Christians and conservative republicans are looking more ridiculous and dangerous by the day to everyone outside of those groups; that is a dream for the democrats. The world is plunging further into chaos and division reminiscent of the 1930s; that is a dream for TPTB and / or ISIS. Trump is not who he says he is. He is the perfect political patsy and he's doing a hell of a job for whoever is holding the strings.
