After all these years I am no more clear on what you do than I was when we first met.

You explained it to me a few times, but that seemed to change repeatedly..and the way K and another explained it..seemed a bit..

I don't know how to feel about it.

A road-trip brought me through St. Louis once, and I felt compelled to stop and take a picture of the arch to send home to family. See where I'm at, as they hadn't known I'd even left.

It was a weird feeling, nothing significant about the city I was aware of then. But I stayed off the highway, and drove through the city, figuring wandering would explain why.

It wasn't until over a year later I'd learn one of the oldest botanical gardens in the country is situated in St. Louis.

Still haven't been back to St. Louis, to visit where I should have. Still always keeping an eye out for other road/plane trip goals, but seldom in any hurry.


ETA: I remember a couple years back showing that same spider vid to my sister at x-mas, and her literally laughing out loud, and the kids wanting to see too :D

I fantasize about being able to rent/own a simple RV some day and drive all around America.

I've only been to 7 states, with a short layover in Houston once(don't count that) and Hawaii, Canada, and Mexico.

Wait..I forgot Nevada.

Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, California, Arizona, Louisiana, Oregon, Nevada.

8 states. Not including the layover in Texas.

9 including Hawaii.


Either way..not enough. Far more I want to see.

K told me the weird stuff that went on with that guy who died. Some stuff that was personally really insulting..if she was being truthful.

Well normally I would be working.

What's stopping me now, is access to future income and quarantine. It is irresponsible and unfair to move around at this point potentially exposing other states.

One of the reasons Oregon infection is so low, I believe we were 2nd in the Nation to shut down.

I want to go camping and I fully plan to. Hopefully soon.

I really want to take my dog camping. He's never been camping. I haven't been camping in a decade. Last time was in Idaho on the way to Yellowstone.

We bought the beach house and all vacation was taken there. The mortgage payment per month is enough to warrant no other destinations.

Edit: We camped in Yellowstone too. Wyoming. That was the last time.
