That is why maybe I found it distressing because it was quite prolonged one at that and just won't let me go. I'm ok with a hug or bear hug or whatever like that, but a prolonged one or perceived to be an indefinite one at that.. something that won't let me go be free, that is kinda scary. Did you struggle? Did it make it hard to breathe? Take your breath? I kinda struggled for a bit. I remembered moving my feet to awake up, but couldn't. I don't recall having any difficulty with breathing. I couldn't wake up until a family member shake my arm to wake me up, somehow I forcefully woke up. Sounds almost like classic sleep paralysis. My partner gets it too. A month or so back I heard him whimpering while asleep for the first time ever. I thought I should wake him up but didn't. I told him about it the next day and said he was stuck in an OBE and was in the between state, paralyzed. He asked me to wake him up if I ever hear that in the future. Sleep paralysis and the feeling of fear and suffocation, is long researched phenomena. You can find drawings from hundreds of years ago..with the depiction of a demon sitting on a sleeping woman's chest.. [link to upload.wikimedia.org (secure)] Being chest compressed, is a big part of it. Paralysis and being unable to 'wake up' completely..the other part. Anonymous Coward User ID: 79229992 Canada 08/23/2020 12:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Appreciate you saying. Quoting: Seer777 It is a common theme I hear from many woman and teens, about how they bought one of my rings, had a friend/sister/daughter love it, and they give it to them, and then come back and buy another..carrying said story with them. The stories people come back to me with, are half the fun of knowing your customers and them knowing you. It's a good feeling to know people value what you do and wear a piece of something you created..sometimes every day and for years. People also lose rings/earrings/etc. for a variety of reasons and tell me they 'feel naked' without it. At least half of my business is repeat customers. I miss that connection for sure. I have so many tubs of jewelry making supplies. I put them all away after I got pregnant because babies and beads aren't a good mix. I don't have a lot of space in my house right now, but I am excited to create jewelry again someday. True. Your son is about 3 now? I love that age range. I blew lampwork beads for a while due to wanting to put them on the haircombs for decoration. Large hole lampwork beads were pretty pricey not feasible in regard to overhead on each piece, so decided to try making them myself. Fizzled out on that after few years and sold the torch and glass, and kept the kiln for annealing. We're basically on hiatus for a year and hope by Christmas 2021 we'll have some semblance of normalcy back in the USA. Blowing glass seems such an incredible art form to me... I hope to one day learn how to do it. My business went to a crawl too...people just don't have money right now He will be 3 on December 25th Nice to see you again, all the best to you & to your son… Blowing glass seems such an incredible art form to me as well..., went to 4 college trips to observe the best artists in the world, not easy must say - tried… |
