The process of Dismemberment and Rememberment, that is. (I am going to keep typing it until Rememberment passes spellcheck.) Word made Flesh. Art. Logos. As the very astute poster a while back said. I am googling and listening for the Diabelli Sonata right now, as we speak. Prior to opening godlike. I awoke, or more so over coffee, with the line, "Claudia, you've been a very very naughty little girl.” Dismemberment and Rememberment (funny why one passes spellcheck but not the other) are very, very challenging concepts. As even spellcheck seems stumped by. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69463594 Both those words are really interesting Reminds of this poat Damnatio Memoriae means condemnation of memory Quoting: Fancypantz Not something new but something really old, resurrection lol The child, (l'enfant), is never given a name, like many of the characters in the novelette. He is a talented piano player, but has little enthusiasm for learning the technicality of piano-playing: he doesn't make an effort to learn the meaning of tempo, nor does he find practicing scales necessary. The piece he plays throughout the novelette is the Diabelli sonata, the tempo of which composes the title: Moderato Cantabile (moderately and singingly). He is stubborn, and refuses to yield to the orders of his teacher, Madame Giraud. (Wiki) It is the reference to what Lestat is playing after the blood of alligators has helped keep him alive. lol Interesting, goes with that link earlier about sound and music with piano keys. There is many alligators in the South, lol |

He said to his disciples, "These little ones who are nursing resemble is those who enter the kingdom." They said to him, "So shall we enter the kingdom by being little ones?" Jesus said to them, "When you (plur.) make the two one and make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside and the above like the below, and that you might make the male and the female be one and the same, so that the male might not be male nor the female be female, when you make eyes in place of an eye and a hand in place of a hand and a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image - then you will enter [the kingdom]." It isn't necessarily about forgiveness but along with that is about honoring the ones you sinned against. I never honored the deer I hit and killed with my car. I think I will. Like the indigenous who when hunting to survive asked the spirit of the animal before they killed it, they gave it honor with how they did the whole process and the balance was balanced/restored. A known murderer in their tribe asked for a medicine person to help them through their transition. The elders agreed and sent a woman to the ICU to help him through the process. She lamented for him. Cried real tears and emotional prayers and did interesting things to him and with interesting things while he was passing on. She didn't know him. She knew of his misdeeds. But gave him an honor that all life is and should have. Everyone treated with respect in death. That is how to die correctly, imo. |
