People are not stupid, but they have been used, think about being taught one way and it was to make sure that was the only way they could understand because it was also taught to their parents. So, they would have a reference to back up what they had been taught. It was Dewey the said guy who invented Dewey decimal system, he said, give him the children for one generation and they would believe anything they were taught, or something that way.

We in the south were to poor to get the books, no joke, we were taught out of very old books and they were in the library.

We had some newer math books but mostly very old books.

You can go and find old documentaries to see what I am saying. They picked NY city first. Then over the year spread across the country. Dumbing down only mean they lying to them so they would trust them so they had no reason not to trust them. These people were not trustworthy. And these people are not stupid they just need to go and do some checking on what they were taught. I sure checked, I did not know a lot of things they had done some but not as much as I found out.

Charity organization I belong to. I'm a social motherfucking butterfly you didn't know? Turns out the best way to raise money is to include alcohol and fun ppl. The wallets and purse strings open like magic. We just had a private party for members and used it as a clothes drive for the homeless. Collected winter clothes and such. So it wasn't just mindless debauchery.

I really enjoy the Irish whiskeys right now. My prefeference is in the bottles in the $40-$50 range. There's a lot of quality choices there. I currently like Knappogue Castle 12-year-old ($42).

My standby for like at the bar or always in the bar at home is Jameson or beefeaters usually.
There's always Maker's too of course. Everyone tends to carry that one.

I'm drinking Jameson with coffee now actually.

Just the right amount and the right.....influence, one would like to impress does do wonders yes lol.

I'm not a big fan of Irish whiskey or scotch. I find it is far too peaty for my taste, but I know the real cultured whiskey drinkers often prefer Irish whiskey. Or so I've noticed.

I think right now, my hands down favorite is Blantons. Oh yeah...

Whiskey literally changes your palate over time. That's why us fancy fuckers drink are drinking different stuff than everyone else. You grow into them over time and they taste different to us than you.
