Mad World

I used to contemplate and had a few close call with suicide but every time I'd get an imaginative scene:

Walking with God by my right side, on top of sea... walking on top of it literally. We look to the sun shining on both of us. He would say, "Why"? It wouldn't end good. To this day I still don't know whether if the imaginative scene is real or not, regardless.. I still have much to live for somehow even though I do not know the reason(s).

All I know every once in a while... having a bunch of beers and ciggies to chill is okay in my book, and a break from hardship of life.

If I was younger, I'd complain but now I'm a bit more older...

Helping ourselves and others toward progression in positive direction is best we can.

I'm doing pretty good. Engaged in the painstaking task of ginger-cookie assembly. Exacting. lol.

I just broke one of the 3D Christmas trees trying to put it together, so got a chance to taste my work. The ginger cookie is soft but not too soft. Good blend of spices. The royal icing turned out really good as well. I added vanilla, almond, and orange extract.

Orange goes really well with the ginger.

The gingerbread houses and cookies turned out really great. I need to practice piping some techniques. I heard on a vid I watched the other day, in culinary school they suggest using mashed potatoes to practice. I thought that was clever.

Last night the project was ice cream. It was a success.

(I would love to see your jewelry...I make it, too.) I had to cancel my account to pay for presents, but will have it again in January. ;)

I used the recipe on the back of the Grandma's molasses jar. While the cookie is really good, the dough was super sticky, even after chilling overnight. It took 4 days and at least 20 or so hours, but I'm really happy with the result. I keep rearranging them and every now and then one falls and breaks..so I eat it.

My parents have a bunch of original prints from the calendars, hanging all over their house. The first time I Stars, I fell in love.
