Both something I recognize and have been actively trying to change. Quoting: Seer777 Most of the time, things aren't really that funny. Most of the time, I use it for just that purpose. But not, however, in the above case. To irritate people? lol. It is very irritating. Like..the lil-sh*t is privy to something the rest of us aren't. Here's the thing about that, if you know something and keep it hidden when it could help others, said individual is just as responsible for what occurs past that point. That's how I see it. Point taken. Irritation can be a way to instigate thought and then, hopefully, seek clarification. Some will. Some won't. I'm glad we clarified! I'm working at it. For years, those that overused it, I just set them to ignore so I don't have to see it. No matter what they could bring to conversation. No matter how intelligent. I've taken them all off ignore at this point because I am trying that whole 'exposure therapy' thing. However, since you mentioned it is utilized to irritate, my feelings make sense. Dzhugashvili served as an artillery officer in the Red Army and was captured on 16 July 1941 in the early stages of the German invasion of USSR at the Battle of Smolensk. The Germans later offered to exchange Dzhugashvili for Friedrich Paulus, the German Field Marshal captured by the Soviets after the Battle of Stalingrad, but Stalin turned the offer down, allegedly saying, "I will not exchange a Field Marshal for a lieutenant."
