I assume you have weighed the risk/benefits of an implant, if that is possible in your case.

As someone who has had a new sense just suddenly 'turn on' I can tell you it is not without its negatives.

Yeah a few people told me. I once entertained the thought that I'd rapidly adapt, learn, and master the new sense.. but.. that is a bit unrealistic, I'd lose my mojo, and I'd might be not me.

One nice thing about an implant is you could turn it off, if you wanted peace.
