Thread: The Memory Hole

I'm just posting/sharing what comes to me in the moment and then waiting for the feedback.

The shooter thread yesterday, was l2 pages deep before I noticed it.

Addictions only last as long as they serve a personal purpose and/or kill the person. Thankfully I quit smoking 4.5 years ago.. Not nearly as difficult as it is made out to be.

Addictions leave a permanent Shadow.

Only the shadow knows.

I tend to disregard divisive propaganda as much as drama.

But...some are addicted to it.

I was very addicted to cigarettes and spent my whole days/nights, outside smoking. Even in the Winter. I called it 'cold conditioning' at the time. Was one of the only thing that helped me control the energies at the time.

It's a wonder I survived those years. I got down to 100lbs and scared a lot of friends and family.

I've been told in the past that smokers are grieving. I know I was. All it took was seeing my new puppy walking around in cigarette ash, for me to feel trashy enough, to kick the habit.

Really wasn't that difficult.

I thought the 1973 Chilean 9/11 was an interesting topic. No one touched it.

Right then.

Back to that slippery slope and the coming future..

Certainly some interesting themes presented. Can't watch it myself, but a summary or two I've seen certainly makes it seem worthwhile.

Perhaps just me, but an "honest" toe to toe fight would almost be a relief. Way things are currently going in multiple lights...just meh.

I can still perfectly picture in my head..the iconic image of the fire fighter holding the limp body of that baby girl. Her name was , Bailey..IIRC.

People should be far more willing to accept that trauma is very difficult to process. Don't pick on people struggling, or consider them weaker or less-than.

Maybe that's the problem..

Hard to fight a shadow..but not impossible.
