Re: Mad World
What I find most repulsive is the constant hypocrisy and how people really don't see their own. Echo chamber and censoring 'undesirables' is fascism. Plain and simple.

The:
My way is right. Your way is wrong. I'm the good guy. You're the bad guy. I'm on God's team. You're on Satan's team. I am pious and holy because my belief system. You are deranged and evil due to your belief system. My state is red. Your state is blue.

Way of thinking..

Truly heinous to watch.

Glad you enjoyed it. It is very well done and informative video in under 8 minutes.

Seriously. How do they NOT see it?

Because they justify their own behavior(while damning others) through cult-led tactics and manipulated belief systems, radicalized by rumor and lies, within team directed politics.

We all learned about the fallacy of stereotyping, in grade school.

Causation vs. correlation.

It is false argument and will alway be.

Fascism(radicals) rides both sides of the fence. If you can't see it, you're blinded by hypocrisy.

Correct.

Once you know how the illusion is cast, the trick loses all its wonder.

Then you wonder how you were tricked in the first place. If you know how The Prestige ends, you'll know how the trick was pulled off.

Smoke and mirrors.

Power attracts pathological personalities. It is not that power corrupts but that it is magnetic to the corruptible. Such people have a tendency to become drunk on violence, a condition to which they are quickly addicted.

Time to make amends. Call them or visit them and apologize directly.

It will help dissolve your guilt and allow they you bullied, to start to heal from the anger.

Carrying guilt around will eat you up like cancer.
 Quoting: Seer777

I feel like I am on a good path now. Not going to contact any of those people though- just something I don’t feel will be productive.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79413351

People remember bullying. For decades. Peer rejection is registered in the same part of the brain that pain is.

Either way it is up to you. The guilt and anger will remain until you make amends. I personally don't believe in forgiveness without amends. It will follow you and them.

Good on you for recognizing it. Not sure why it is so difficult for people to apologize to those they injured mentally, physically or emotionally but it is.

It's also known as the sleeper hold.

It was just a bunch of us kids in the swimming pool. When I woke up I started thrashing around because I was on my back, floating in the water, and didn't know where I was.

The next thing I realized was the male to my right, had his hand on my boob.

Lesson learned.

You know what the 'Lock him up' bit reminds me of.. The 'landlord vs. peasant trials'.

Mass killings of landlords under Mao Zedong

Part of Mao Zedong's land reform during the late phase of the Chinese Civil War and the early People's Republic of China was a campaign of mass killings of landlords in order to redistribute land to the peasant class and landless workers.

It resulted in millions of deaths. Those killed were targeted on the basis of class rather than ethnicity, so terming the campaign genocide is incorrect. The neologism "classicide" is more accurate.

Class-motivated mass killings continued through the almost 30 years of social and economic transformation in Maoist China resulting in the deaths of 90% to 95% of the what used to be 15 million members of the landlord class in China according to Harry Wu

20 to 43 million people perished from starvation during the Great Leap Forward. Not all deaths during the Great Leap Forward were due to starvation. Frank Dikötter estimates that at least 2.5 million people were beaten or tortured to death and an additional 1 to 3 million people committed suicide.

The Great Leap Forward also led to the greatest destruction of real estate in human history, outstripping any of the bombing campaigns during World War II. Approximately 30 to 40 percent of all houses were demolished.

The point is...that if this virus was intentionally spread as an Act of War by the communists due to their anger over being insulted by the tariffs, then spreading it purposely via churches, would play into their plan perfectly.

Communists hate religion and by breaking up that very real source of comfort and faith and calling it non-essential..is working directly into the Communist hands.

Set up..

Throwing families out on the street..is only the beginning.

Landlords have always been known to be particularly cruel over the centuries.

During the Famine period, an estimated half-million Irish were evicted from their cottages.

Unscrupulous landlords used two methods to remove their penniless tenants. The first involved applying for a legal judgment against the male head of a family owing back-rent.After the local barrister pronounced judgment, the man would be thrown in jail and his wife and children dumped out on the streets. A 'notice to appear' was usually enough to cause most pauper families to flee and they were handed out by the hundreds.

The second method was for the landlord to simply pay to send pauper families overseas to British North America. Landlords would first make phony promises of money, food and clothing, then pack the half-naked people in overcrowded British sailing ships, poorly built and often unseaworthy, that became known as coffinships.

No complaints. Just trying to find things to do to keep busy and interested.

Ive leveled my Wood elf to 21 and have had fun doing that. Built my Big Daddy(Mr. Bubbles) 3D sculpture. Took about 2 hours. Still need to paint it.

Most of the harvest is complete, but I still have another 8 or so hours of that in front of me.

Decorated the house and backyard for Halloween.

My partner drove to Portland yesterday to pick up our BIL. The dentist. He was at a retreat or some thing a few days ago, and leaned against the railing at the house they rented, and it broke. He fell 8ft to the ground and broke his back. Thankfully he is not paralyzed, but being we had the bed in the back of the van, he could lay back there to be transferred to the beach house where his wife and kids are.

Strangely enough the book I'm reading,(From The Corner of His Eye, Dean Koontz), which I picked up from the beach house when I was there in September..is about that very thing. The whole book has been syncing to the point it is spooky.

They have a lawyer and all that, for his fall.

Now I'm having coffee and deciding what to do with my day.

Probably more gaming and maybe I'll paint. The internet has lost much of my interest of late.

Here's some pics.
