Which games do you have?

This is how kids should learn. The headset does hurt after awhile but I hope my forehead will just get use to it.

No games yet. I experienced Dinosaurs, Abu Dhabi, Venice, and documentary about Notre Dame. I can totally see how some people might get motion sick..but it feels awesome to me. Feels like gliding. Like in a dream.

I DL VRChat this morning..but haven't gotten far yet.


I did the morning meditation on Tripp. Do the demo on Tripp. It blew my mind.

Question about VR chat, do they let you pick and avatar and how much customization is there?

Very excited to get mine tomorrow.

I already have a wishlist set up on their app of what games and other apps I'd like to buy.

I watched a few minutes of How to Train Your Dragon in VRPrime last night, and it looked pretty good. I haven't check Netflix yet. Still getting use to the interface.

A lot to explore still.

There are 2 of these type of hanging chairs in one of the virtual environments. I was thinking to myself yesterday it would be cool if they added a pet feature to the virtual environments you could interact with..


The space station environment looking out over the Earth, is pretty incredible..they all are. You could live in a closet or a jail cell and put one of these things on and forget you're in a closet.

Maybe that's the point..

I do recommend. It's amazing. Do be aware about 40% of people get motion sickness. My partner got it. I didn't.

I played a racing game yesterday that I had to take a break after because it was so intense..but I didn't feel sick.

I am having trouble streaming the 360 videos and I'm not sure if it is server side or not.

Curious to see how I'd go.

In Tripp for example, you often get the sensation of gliding or floating/rising.

It's pretty incredible.

Playing the racing game, I could feel the sensation of falling when I fell off the track and quick moments do cause a bit of dizziness as your brain tries to figure out what the hell is happening. lol.

It was only super intense the first time. I played 5 or 6 games in a row after without the dizziness.

Any game recommends or fun stuff?

If you buy a set, do the Tripp demo. It truly blew my mind. It was really what I thought dying looks like.

It is almost sensual the way it feels moving through..


I signed up for the year for $10. They have a new Focus/Calm meditation daily which is like the demo and changes a bit each time.

I went on the tours yesterday until I realized the blurriness was not normal and when I changed the quality to 'best' it wouldn't buffer. Could be server side with everyone getting the Oculus at the same time.

I know WOW when it first came out, sold more copies than there was space.

The only game I've played in the racing game called Void Racer Extreme. I got it, because it reminded me of Wipeout when it first came out on the Playstation which at the time, was the coolest thing ever.

It was $10.

Agree. I might be put off if you have to use voice. I'm weird like that. Hopefully there is a typing function.

It's different with friends, or the happy occasions you come across a good squad/team on various games.

Even gaming on WOW I spent 99% of my time grinding alone.

Grouping in games gives me anxiety and waiting or relying on others, feels like a group project in school.

But..I'll see if I can move outside my comfort zone. My blocks are pretty difficult to penetrate. Especially the first time.


I do like we can have virtual avatars on VRChat. I wouldn't do it otherwise.

Whole reason I chose my class was so I could solo grind the bosses along the quest line. Think I spoke on WoW once with voice chat for one of the massive raids.

You know..the telepathy could be really easy to test in VR.
