I was thinking it could kinda be like the, Room of Requirement they found in Harry Potter.. Order of the Phoenix. Where they practiced. I'm interested how telepathy could be both proven and tested in VR. I did see that. There is so much to explore. Grouping in games gives me anxiety and waiting or relying on others, feels like a group project in school. But..I'll see if I can move outside my comfort zone. My blocks are pretty difficult to penetrate. Especially the first time. I do like we can have virtual avatars on VRChat. I wouldn't do it otherwise. Whole reason I chose my class was so I could solo grind the bosses along the quest line. Think I spoke on WoW once with voice chat for one of the massive raids. Think you'll do fine seer, and I'd be curious to know what kind of options are available with the avatar choice I know I will overthink it. As I do. In Solar Opposites he mentions the only reason to use the 'dumb ray' is overthinking. Overthinking about overthinking. Heh. [link to youtu.be (secure)] I did go into VRChat today for the first time.. After figuring out how to move around..I chose a room and went in. I muted my mic and walked around the space(Sunset something) and the only thing I could really take away from the experiences is there were a bunch of children in there. I could hear all of them talking and I'd say the youngest I heard sounded around 9 and one kid..around 12 wouldn't stop talking at all. He kept up a continuing dialogue ranging from people's butts(their avatars?) to someone being a 'disgrace to humanity'. As an adult..the last thing I want is to be in a room with a bunch of kids on VR. Personally I don't think children and adults should be paired up in rooms together whatsoever..in such a medium. That needs to be addressed stat. Other than that..I'll see if I can locate other rooms that don't allow children and adults to mingle together in a VR chat room. Would have exited quick in that circumstance, but the juxtaposition between butt kid and the one informing you that you were blocking the entrance kind of sums up humanity. Playing online with a diverse age group is standard now, and while I understand in theory why you'd want to implement said rules, kids and adults need to interact. Could see you with a "nanny corner" reading stories to kids, maybe a duet with K playing the wolf avatar? :'D *Glitches May Occur. Consume(D) At Own Risk |

If I hadn't heard an adult male interacting with the kids I wouldn't have felt weird about it. Why would an adult male want to engage in conversation with children and pretend pillow fights? Just..no. As a former nanny, my red flag went way up. Nah. I was paid to be around children and sacrificed both my youth, health, and some of my sanity. I'm done with all that. From what I saw online, making your own private world requires actual unity implementation, you have to design it yourself. I don't want to say that I'd never be able to do that, but it would be an enormous undertaking for me. I wonder if an alternative software exists that's a bit more intuitive and user friendly. |

Oculus Gives Away ‘Asgard’s Wrath’ to New Quest 2 Users Starting Today To qualify, you need to activate a Quest 2 for the first time and use it with a Link cable between today and January 31st, 2021. Make sure to download the Oculus PC app first, and connect your Quest 2 with a USB 3.0 cable or the original Link cable sold by Oculus. Developed by Sanzaru Games exclusively for the Rift platform, Asgard’s Wrath boasts 30+ hours of first-person combat, dungeoning, and plenty of RPG goodness. Although the game is all about melee, you’ll also find yourself morphing to the size of a god to solve environmental puzzles using any one of your animal companions.
