My problem with VR chat is that I'm so short my avatar always looks like it's crouched down.

There are all kinds of possibilities. I need to get a better sense of VR chat though to figure out how all of that works. I probably need to add you as a friend on VR also. My usename is Liathwulf by the way

Once I barely learned to move..and get into a room and child walked up to me and said, You can't just stand there..other people are coming in.

I did go into VRChat today for the first time..

After figuring out how to move around..I chose a room and went in.


I muted my mic and walked around the space(Sunset something) and the only thing I could really take away from the experiences is there were a bunch of children in there. I could hear all of them talking and I'd say the youngest I heard sounded around 9 and one kid..around 12 wouldn't stop talking at all.

He kept up a continuing dialogue ranging from people's butts(their avatars?) to someone being a 'disgrace to humanity'.


As an adult..the last thing I want is to be in a room with a bunch of kids on VR. Personally I don't think children and adults should be paired up in rooms together whatsoever..in such a medium. That needs to be addressed stat.


Other than that..I'll see if I can locate other rooms that don't allow children and adults to mingle together in a VR chat room.

Would have exited quick in that circumstance, but the juxtaposition between butt kid and the one informing you that you were blocking the entrance kind of sums up humanity.



Playing online with a diverse age group is standard now, and while I understand in theory why you'd want to implement said rules, kids and adults need to interact.
Could see you with a "nanny corner" reading stories to kids, maybe a duet with K playing the wolf avatar? :'D

I have some 'meh' news about VR chat.
From what I saw online, making your own private world requires actual unity implementation, you have to design it yourself.
I don't want to say that I'd never be able to do that, but it would be an enormous undertaking for me.

I wonder if an alternative software exists that's a bit more intuitive and user friendly.

this one startled me; it looked like crap on my camera's preview screen, and it does sort of look like crap, but i still like the unintended accidental placement of mars sitting right on the boundary of the aura, and that it captured some of it's redness
