That took an unexpected turn, red flag is an understatement.
Was more picturing something akin to the Futurama internet scene...not pillow fights.
Quoting: Sol-tari What was surprising to me is that I just walked right in. There was no warning that the room would have kids in it. If I had known that previous, I wouldn't have went in. The first thing I said was, There's kids in here..I heard my partner then say.. Don't profile people. But I could hear their voices and judge exactly how old some of them were. I will profile people who would abuse said feature..immediately. That was part of my job. See potential problems before they happen and keep it from happening, to keep children safe. I was good at what I did. 'Why' I was allowed in..is where I see the problem arising. It's just asking for trouble from the sick and twisted among us. There should be age restrictions. And not just 'if you're over 18 click here'. That's how I see it. Quoting: Seer777 Kids in games is standard. Age restrictions teend to go the other way, join a public COD game and you'll hear kid/kids. Your partner's right, and while I understand where you're coming from .. Well adults play Minecraft to. Kids only servers, sure, and while I don't know the game, wonder if the size of the maps would allow you to find a private spot seeing as private servers seem out Quoting: Sol-tari I don't play online games that have teams filled with real people. My partner does. He loves that stuff. War is not interesting to me in a game scenario. Playing Civilization over the years..I always went for science victory. War is boring to me and ends progress. It's horrific. Certainly not fun.. Games are different than VR. VR is a totally different experience. This tech is new and people are gonna exploit it. Just a word for parents out there, who are thinking of getting an Oculus Quest for their kids for Christmas. Quoting: Seer777 Lots of games involve team play, WoW raids being another. Just went with CoD for the example. Tended to always go for science victory myself, was disappointed with the last installment I played. Removed a lot of the options by becoming more simplified. And certainly get what you are saying with exploit new tech. Was a kid when the internet started being used, those same warnings were everywhere about the dangers of it
