I didn't know that I was a human moments before or that humans had ever existed or any memory of any sort. There was only awareness of sensation. No memory.I get why that would scare people. I've experienced it though, and it is the farthest thing from scary. Hell was..on the other end. Carrying the weight of all your memories, fears, regrets, and being stuck alone with them at the bottom a well. Kicked, abandoned, raped, tortured. It was awful.
