idk I was thinking about this as watching the video, there are a lot of them that are heavily sync, at a certain point I feel like I cant pay attention to the sync or find it remarkable, I find it profoundly interesting to observe but it just too much to be fascinated when it reaches a certain point

Remember when this came out?

Tons of people resonated with it for a reason.

It still kinda blows my mind all these years later.

Coincidence is plausible deniability.

Heh.
 Quoting: Seer777

‘Do you know, that there may be no Ultimate Truth?’ figures prominently on the title page of one of the main teaching documents of the Illuminates of Thanateros (see The Council of the Magi 2014, title page– thus mocking the desire of many former and con-temporaneous practitioners.30 This renunciation of the existence of ‘ultimate truth’ had two driving forces.

On the one hand, Chaos Magick practitioners generally ascribed negative effects to belief systems as ‘belief is responsible for all the limiting conditions placed on the subjective individual and therefore, in order to break free of the conditions, one must break free of belief and learn how to use it as a tool for the development of the self’ (Duggan 2014, 409). Carroll thus suggests different ‘techniques of liberation’, thereby referring to ‘those which weaken the hold of society, convention, and habit over the initiate, and those which lead to a more expansive outlook.

They are sacrilege, heresy, iconoclasm, bioaestheticism, and anathemism’ (Carroll 1987, 45–7). One the other hand, Chaos Magick was influenced by contemporaneous debates on relativism and constructivism in the social sciences. In his essay ‘The Magic of Chaos’ Carroll argues for instance that an ‘implication of the principle of relativity of belief is that all beliefs are considered to be arbitrary and contingent. Consequently, all notions of absolute truth only exist if we choose to believe them at any time’

I was thinking about the bad guy/good guy thing last night.

How many people did Luke Skywalker kill when he blew up the Death Star?

What if it was called the, Life Star?

How many people died on the Death Star?

According to the official Star Wars lore, the exact number of people who died on the Death Star is 1,565,231 people.

Although the range is usually given to be between one million and two million, this answer comes from a vast array of information across the galaxy.

I don't know ANYTHING about the avengers movies either and do not like them.
but I was just interested in the events taking place
action bores me
but this was extremely metaphysical
of a show
it was not what I expected it would be
as if its following archtypal lines
chaos magick is NOT a mainstream idea
it has now become a mainstream part of a popular universe
so this idea is being fed in a sense
the chuthulu new movie too
bit of a double whammy, with the essence of the lord of chaos controlling the witch of chaos
I mean I don't have to know anything about marvel to have feelins about it

I think why we as a species cling so tightly to our myths..because for a really long time, it was the only entertainment available.

Storytelling.

Repeating the same stories over and over or songs, is still something we love to do with our time. We add art, and effects and all the magic our tech can muster to a single purpose. To entertain ourselves and lose ourselves in stories.

Escaping into the stories such that constant pain/stress of reality doesn't wear us down.

Now stories are everywhere..but still often carry a common theme.

I don't think I've seen that same enthusiasm since said book series ended.

Re: Mad World
I was watching something that was recommended to me, which is

Its called sacrificial by Rezz, and it was released on march 25th, the same day I finally left that hellhole of a punishment.
At the end of this video, the explorer in the astronaut suit destroys a reptilian idol in space and dissolves into water and a void of floating rocks, at which point a frame cuts to a blue butterfly hovering on the astronauts arm. In the last few seconds, as the singer ends the song with
For you
Baby, it's official, this is sacrificial
For you, oh
For you, oh
Baby, we're competing with a sacrifice

You see the astronaut centered in the screen with a massive flurry of blue butterflies bursting from their chest. Thats the last of the video. The whole video struck me but the fact I had just deleted blue monarch and was released on that day is almost uncanny in strangeness. Something I am not sure if I feel good or bad about. Is it possible to feel both in equal measure without creating a contradiction?
I sometimes thing this dualistic ability is one of the psychic sensitivity, that if not properly guided can become a mental illness, but when directed well can be a big asset in many domains.
Quoting: The Green Lion Ate The Sun

Which brings us back to psychic gravity.

Some people have it. Some people have a lot of it. Some can crush you into unconsciousness while others feel light and like floating..and everything between.

Re: Mad World
Clinical Trial Finds Substantial Antidepressant Effects From Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy

"We found a statistically significant and very large effect," Davis said in a recent podcast.

Among 24 volunteers with major depressive disorder, researchers found psilocybin-assisted therapy was at least twice as effective as psychotherapy on its own, and more than four times as effective as available antidepressant drugs.

The drug also doesn't require taking a pill every single day, nor does it come with nearly as many side effects as antidepressants or ketamine. Apart from occasional mild to moderate headaches and a few emotional moments, volunteers in the study tolerated psilocybin quite well and there were no serious dangers.

The research included two therapy sessions on the drug with 8 hours of prep and 2 hours of follow-up with a therapist. During the sessions, a pill of psilocybin was administered and participants stretched out on a couch in a living room-like space with headphones on for musical stimulation and eyeshades on to spur inward reflection.
