Waste of time as far as I'm concerned and also a bastion of mental illness. OCD is superstition rituals that become so religiously adhered to, to the point that the person can't function. No different than the pigeon turning in its cage for a treat. Same thing as far as I'm concerned. Superstitious ritual due to being unsure or feeling out of control, of ones own life. Far better methods for achieving self reliance that don't rely on faith in a higher power that deals out boons and curses. It's all rather sadistic and doesn't make sense.. It also cancels out the belief in a wide variety of beings and entities. They can't hurt you if they don't exist. Chaos Magick 101. People do evil to other people. Not entities. That's not to say I am totally against the idea for a Creator. If we live in a simulation then a creator makes sense. I waited months for an appointment just to renew, and then found out I had to retake my driver's test because my license was expired too long. After waiting about a year and many hundreds of dollars later, plus a driver's test where I was separated by plastic from the instructor..with only a plastic dish-washing glove to 'reach over'..I was able to renew my DL. Now I can drive the 3.5 hours South to see my aging parents and potentially pass them covid, which ends their lives. our unusual lifestyles adjust more easily than many can do in this crisis |
