The "Powers that Be" do not carry out willy-nilly assassination attempts without exhausting all other options.
They're still betting on a rigging GOP nominating contest, resurrecting the Jeb Corpse, spinning the news as much as they can against Trump, pushing a negative Trump narrative through their CIA-controlled pundits, or later on rigging the election for Hillary with vote fraud.
They'll exhaust all options before murdering Trump, because assassination attempts take time, planning, and a coherent structure of key plotters and players all on the same page.
