Besides that the TSA has gotten horrible. I've been robbed a number of times and accosted by those bottom feeders. Everyone should boycott flying just on account of TSA. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 49774270 Flying is the safest way to travel. "All that is necessary for evil to triumph, is for good men to do nothing." That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.-Romans 10:9 "In this galaxy, there's a mathematical probability of three million Earth-type planets. And in all of the universe, three million million galaxies like this. And in all of that... and perhaps more, only one of each of us."-Dr.Mccoy |

Nefarious Libertine User ID: 70767101 United States 12/15/2015 08:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | We do not learn from history because our studies are brief and prejudiced. In a surprising manner, 250 years emerges as the average length of national greatness. This average has not varied for 3,000years. The stages of the rise and fall of great nations seem to be: The Age of Pioneers , The Age of Conquests ,The Age of Commerce ,The Age of Affluence ,The Age of Intellect ,The Age of Decadence. Decadence is marked by: Defensiveness, Pessimism, Materialism,Frivolity An influx of foreigners The Welfare State A weakening of religion. Decadence is due to: Too long a period of wealth and power, Selfishness Love of money ,The loss of a sense of duty. The life histories of great states are amazingly similar, and are due to internal factors. Their falls are diverse, because they are largely the result of external causes. - Sir John Glubb The Fate of Empires We are at the end of the Age of Decadence heading into COLLAPSE |

Nutmeg, check this one out....A friend of ours, a very high roller and " frequent flyer" who knew better than to do this, took his seat belt off in turbulence to use the rest room, said he couldn't wait, and when the plane hit some bad turbulence, his head hit the top of the plane and it crushed his spinal cord causing him to be paralyzed from the waist down and in a wheel chair permanently at 42. He was one of those pukey personality type of super rich people that was a rear end to just about everyone he came across and I guess more karma caught up with him because 2 years after that he caught double pneumonia and he ended up dying from it. |

Oh, how awful! I have been a passenger many times, and I know the rules. I TRY to follow them the best I can. I rarely get up when the seatbelt sign is on. Sometimes it's so difficult to stay in your seat, though, when the seatbelt sign is on for over an hour. I always think..."the next time I'm wearing a Depends!" I feel so sorry for your friend and his family. I do believe that when we are born, our life is planned. It was his time. Sad, though. |

I also know from personal experience. Stopped flying them after the aircraft I was on from Houston to Nashville made an emergency landing. Found out that the plane was already being taken out of service before it took off from Houston. They would not tell me why it was taken out of service. The plane they switched us to for the flight to Detroit was also taken out of service after IT also made an emergency landing. Lost hydraulics and had to turn over several states in order to line up with the run way. Then they switched us to another plane, we all got on, and it had engine trouble. The fourth plane, had the pilots and flight attendants from the first two emergency landings -- and they told about the hydraulic problem -- and refused to tell me why the first plane was out of service before it took off because they would lose their jobs and 'It was so bad I didn't want to know'. One of the pilots said 'NEVER EVER fly SWA into Nashville' because many of the planes headed there are destined for service. Have a nice day = GFY. GFY = Go Fuck Yourself. If this offends you then have a nice day. |
