Must say it's crystal clear, and I'm near the west coast so it comes straight from the Atlantic, doesn't pass over any polluted areas. You're on the West Coast and think rain comes from the Atlantic, which is on the East Coast? Weather moves from west to east so your theory won't hold water. However, if you meant to say the rain came over the Pacific Ocean to the West Coast, you would be correct. The only problem with that is it would carry radiation from Fukushima. Yup, we're screwed no matter which way we look. I'm on the west coast of Ireland. |

Everyone still has to pay for it. Nothing changed that. All not paying for it did was get people a HUGE shut off water bill real fast. And for anyone who will say 'refuse to pay that' I challenge you to go to your water meter right now and shut off your main water to your house. Leave it like that for just one day. Quoting: Strawberrymittens I think it's terribly unfortunate that they just lied to everyone for 18 months and told them it was safe to drink. Apparently the water came out cloudy with a foul odor but they were told that it was basically their imagination and to drink up. The effects on those kids are permanent. If it the water was noticeably foul, then the reality denying libtards would have drank it. Natural selection at work. A normal persons response would have been to NOT drink the poison water and find alternative resources or move. People in denial of reality need to die and not fucking vote. This problem will eventually fix itself once the stupid ones are dead. |

Quoting: gp 70960681 We have all kinds of shit in our water here, mercury is one of the worst problems and it has made the people nuts. There is also chromium , lead and strontium. In the town where I live 1 out of every 187 people is registered as a sex offender and in a nearby town just west of here it's 1 out of 27. An no, I'm not exaggerating, almost all of the kids in this area are victims of molestation and it's usually a family member. I never drank the water because I suspected there was something in it when i saw how weird the people were acting, I knew there had to be a common thread. There are a lot of people that are just plain batshit crazy, you have to be careful and avoid eye contact and socializing, just mind you own business. The funny thing is you can drive 15 miles north or 18 miles south and the people are perfectly normal so it's something in the environment without a doubt. where are you? I want to make sure I never go there! |

Epic Beard Guy User ID: 26240425 ![]() 12/16/2015 12:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | City officials insist Flint’s water is safe, even if it looks unappealing. Quoting: NiNzrez Mayor Dayne Walling, a Flint native, says he drinks the water. Walling allows the “perception persists” that the river remains polluted from toxins left behind by heavy industrial activity in the past, but says it’s cleaner than it has been for years, he said. [link to patch.com] Do a Google image search for 'Flint water' and you will see many images of just how bad your drinking water can get And when looking at those images of that disgusting water, keep in Mind we all pay at least $100 a month for our water. & that's just the bare basics amount. Main reason its so high is because the city improperly raised water and sewer rates by 35 percent in 2011 and added a 'readiness-to-serve' charge, which amounts to about $57 per monthly, per customer. Who the hell knows wtf that charge pays for but it sure was a nice way for a broke city that pays their public officials way to much for sitting on their thumbs, to extort more money from the public. Then when they get called out for their actions, saying its not their fault & its our job as the public to pay to have all this fixed. And people are suing for 2 sperate things. 1 because the effects of lead is irreversable. Most people bought & continue to buy bottled water to drink. But it goes far beyond just drinking water. Most thought it was OK to cook with the water since your boiling it (right?) & we Have to shower in it & water our animals & wash our clothes. All while getting saturated with copious amounts of lead. And thanks to Obama for signing a bill that makes collecting rain water illegal. & 2 to get back money they payed on bills that was illegal extorted from us without any notice or fesable explanation at all. Just 32 to 100 within a month. Pay it or they gladly shut your ass off with a smile on their faces. I think most of GLP can see a clear picture from this all We're the testing ground for all this shit. Coming to a city near you. But we all knew this year's ago The smart ones with the money to do so have already got set up with water collection & filtration because we all KNEW something like this would be coming our way. This should be a wake up call for all of you to secure your own fresh drinking water Ninz, I haven't seen you around for a while. Welcome back. I thought you were trying to get out of that shit hole. Around here it's Denver water. I wouldn't let my kids drink that shit. If you aren't out of town on well water, invest in a Zero Water filter. It's the only one that takes out all the poison, including Fluoride. Keep in mind that the filter also takes out trace minerals that you need, so take a supplement.
