When Georgie boy made the prequels he had already long ago written outlines for all three trilogies.

Disney said that they used some of his ideas for the 3rd trilogy.

When he made the prequels, he said that the movies weren't about Luke, but they were all about Anakin.....so therefore he would have to be somewhere at the center of this trilogy also.

There are numerous articles and rumours that Hayden is going to be in Episode 8, with most speculating that he'll be playing in a flashback or appear as a force ghost.

But I think that Snoke is Plagueis (who learned to cheat death) and most likely has something to do with Kamino, the giant planet chrunin' out tens of thousands of clones....kind of a big plot point, but Kamino was never mentioned again after Episode 2 and is a serious loose end.

I think that Plagueis' secret was that whenever he died, he'd transfer himself to a clone and after Palpatine killed him he just resurrected and sat back, letting Palpatine and Darth do all the work for him and just NOW coming back out of the shadows.

So I guess that ol' Anakin is coming back as a clone...and we'll get to see an 'old' son fight a 'young' father next go-round.

Hmmmmm, now that is interesting. So excited we get to explore this universe again.

I'm broke until the 1st, but will find a theater and go see it then, this is one I am NOT waiting until dvd to see.

Hell, I still haven't seen Walter Mitty and wanted to see that.

I can't wait until there is no more white people. Going to see this move like three times in the theater to help with its box office.

I'm going tomorrow (17th). Lucked out and finally got through the Fandango.com crash the day they went on sale to get IMAX tickets.

And 100% has the greatest lightsaber battle put to film yet.

I agree with the Plagueis observation.
I would suggest Plagueis rather a influence for Snoke though, rather than title.
Was Plagueis said to be 30+ foot tall?

Don't know..he was never described physically in the prequels, just briefly mentioned..but in the comics he's portrayed as being snake-like/reptilian.
